Two options for the reconstruction of the gas-exhaust channels for 160-t converters are considered: with and without complete combustion of carbon monoxide in the converter-gas exhaust system. The resulting characteristics are compared. The benefits of reconstruction without complete combustion of carbon monoxide in the converter-gas exhaust system are outlined.
