A method utilizes signals received from the signal source by receivers during respective time intervals and data about a change in positions of the receivers during these time intervals. The method includes applying first processing to each of the signals received by each respective receiver to determine an accumulated phase in the signal during a respective time interval. Applying second processing to determine differential phases differences between the accumulated phases of the signals received by two or more pairs of the receivers. The phases differences are indicative of the difference between the changes of the distances of the respective receivers from the signal source during the respective time intervals. The method includes applying a third processing for determining the location of the signal source such that the relative changes between the positions of the respective receivers relative to the determined location correspond to the distance differences of the phase differences.

A system and method for locating a signal source are disclosed. The method utilizes signals S_(n) received during respective time intervals {t_(n)} from the signal source by a number n of receivers {Rc_(n)}, and data about the change {R_(n)} of the receivers positions {R_(n)}. The method includes processing the signals S_(n) from each of the receivers to determine the phase _(n) accumulated in the signal S_(n) during a respective time interval t_(n). Based on the determined accumulated phases {_(n)}, the accumulated phases differences _(mn) (differential phase) between the signals, S_(m) and S_(n), that are received by two or more pairs {m,n} of the receivers are determined. Then, the location of the signal source is determined such that it satisfies that the changes in the positions of the respective {n,m} receivers relative to that location correspond to the differential phases _(nm) between the signals received by the respective receivers.

A cellular system that includes one or more moving relays, each having one or more add-on Interference Cancellation Modules (ICMs) capable of generating a cleaner signal by increasing the Signal-to-Interferer Ratio (SIR), thereby cancelling interference. The interference originates from intra-network or from out-of-network source. The system enables cellular communication between two or more mobile stations, in a geographic area that lacks adequate cellular coverage by one or more stationary base station.

The present invention relates to a digital retro-directive system and method thereof for receiving incoming signals from a transmitting source by means of at least two antennas and transmitting outgoing signals back, substantially simultaneously, towards said transmitting source through said at least two antennas irrespective of the location of one antenna with respect to another and without calculating phase differences between said outgoing signals.

The advent of Social Networks has made both companies and public bodies tremendously exposed to the so-called Social Engineering 2.0, and thus prone to targeted cyber-attacks. Unfortunately, there is currently no solution available on the market that allows neither the comprehensive assessment of Social Vulnerabilities nor the management and reduction of the associated risk. DOGANA aims to fill this gap by developing a framework that delivers aDvanced sOcial enGineering And vulNerability Assessment. The underlying concept of DOGANA is that Social Vulnerabilities Assessments (SVAs), when regularly performed with the help of an efficient framework, help deploy effective mitigation strategies and lead to reducing the risk created by modern Social Engineering 2.0 attack techniques. Two relevant features of the proposed framework are: i) the presence of the awareness component within the framework as the cornerstone of the mitigation activities; ii) the legal compliance by design of the whole framework, that will be ensured by a partner and a work package explicitly devoted to this task. Moreover, the outcomes of the project are also expected to provide a solid basis to revise the insurance models for cyber-attacks related risks, thanks to the involvement of 2 strong DOGANA partners in this area of activity. The project will be implemented by a consortium of 18 partners, from 11 different countries, including users, technology providers of whom 3 are major world-wide cyber-security solutions market leaders as well as legal and psychological expertise. An extensive field trial plan enables the testing of the DOGANA platform with six users (4 partners and 2 supporting users) operating in the critical areas of energy, finance, transport, utilities, and public authorities. DOGANA has also created a unique consortium with a world-wide scope.

A calibration network system for an array antenna and method for calibrating of the array antenna are described. The system includes a pair of rectangular waveguides stacked in parallel relation to each other and spaced apart at a distance of a quarter of an operating wavelength. The rectangular waveguides includes through-holes extending through a side-wall of the stacked rectangular waveguides from a bottom of a lower waveguide to a top of an upper waveguide to accommodate coaxial transmission lines. The side-wall has openings between the through-holes and an interior region of the rectangular waveguides in order to provide coupling of the coaxial transmission lines into the pair of rectangular waveguides. The system includes 90 degree phase shifter coupled to the upper rectangular waveguide, and a power divider/combiner coupled to a reference T/R Module, to the 90 degree phase shifter and to the lower rectangular waveguide.

A system and methods for cancelling spatial interference associated with an original multi-carrier signal carrying at least one data transmission sent by a transmitter to an antenna array comprising a plurality of antennae and having a receiver operatively associated therewith, the system receiving a plurality of received signals respectively including interference and the original signal as received by a respective individual antenna from among the plurality of antennae, the system comprising a spatial nulling device for generating a cleaner signal by reducing at least one spatial component of the interference; and a signal manipulator operative to manipulate a derivative of the received signal so as to cause the at least one data transmission to be more concentrated in a subset of frequency bands in which the spatial nulling device is more effective and to be less concentrated in frequency bands which do not belong to the subset of frequency bands.
