We developed silver nanoparticle ink with a low sintering temperature for inkjet printing process. The developed ink exhibited a very stable discharge with no nozzle clogging in the high resolution inkjet printing system with a 1 pl nozzle. A low resistivity of 7 μΩ·cm was achieved in the printed silver lines by thermal sintering at 120 °C. We successfully fabricated a short channel organic TFT with a channel length of 10 μm and obtained a mobility of 0.6 cm2/Vs. Furthermore, we applied the silver nanoparticle ink to a roll to roll printing process and fabricated an organic TFT array. © 2017 Japan Institute of Electronics Packaging.
