The present invention provides improved techniques that can be used to verify illegitimate non-human users that are accessing content. For example, a method of verifying a non-human user of a computerized device may comprise receiving information identifying a potential non-human user of a computerized device, altering a browser page to be used by the potential non-human user, and verifying whether or not the potential non-human user is an actual non-human user based on a behavior of the potential non-human user with the altered browser page.


Improved techniques can be used to identify illegitimate non-human user software that is accessing content. An exemplary method of identifying non-human user software of computerized devices may comprise receiving information relating to attributes relevant to the indication of non-human user software activity from a plurality of computerized devices, wherein at least a portion of the computerized devices are known to be infected with at least one non-human user software, and at least a portion of the devices are known not to be infected with a non-human user software, selection as factors of the attributes based on a correlation of the attribute with the presence of non-human user software activity, computing a score for each factor indicating a likelihood of non-human user software infection for that factor, computing a combined score based on the scores of the individual factors, the combined score indicating a combined likelihood of non-human user software infection.

Removing a gun or other weapon from a holster may inevitably require police backup to secure officer safety. One example device may include a weapon securing holster and a wireless presence detection antenna which receives wireless proximity data from a weapon drawn from the holster. Other features may include a sensor which detects a presence of the weapon and a processor which processes sensor data generated by the at least one sensor and radio frequency signals identifying a proximity of the weapon to the wireless presence detection antenna.


A smart module for actuating an electrical device in response to a smart fob includes: a low frequency transmitter for transmitting a first password and a smart module ID number in a low frequency signal; an auto-polling timer controlling a length of time between transmissions of the first password and the smart module ID number over a predetermined time frame; a high frequency receiver for receiving a high frequency signal including a second password; a memory for storing a registration number with which the smart fob is registered to the smart module, a smart module ID number for the smart module and a third password; a sending unit connected to the electrical device; and a processor for decrypting the second password and determining if the second password is from the smart fob registered to the smart module and then sending the third password to the electrical device via the sending unit if the second password is from the smart fob registered to the smart module.

The present disclosure is directed to a universal food and drink lid. The lid is formed of a stretchy material so that it can fit on a plurality of containers of different sizes. The lid is also formed of a material with sufficient elasticity so that once it is fit onto a container, such as a cup or a bowl, the lid forms a seal therewith that allows for a spill-proof connection between the container and the lid. The lid may further include an outlet for removing the contents of the container without removing the lid. The lid may further include an outlet that is a spout, an opening with a movable stopper, a straw opening or an opening sized to fit the hand of a user.

An interlocking container for intermodal transportation includes a plurality of storage chambers that are surrounded by a frame. The frame is configured to support multiple interlocking containers stacked on top of the interlocking container. Each of the storage chambers are configured to couple with a vertically adjacent storage chamber, so that materials stored within a particular storage chamber may travel to a different storage chamber. Each storage chamber uses a sealing member to couple with a vertically adjacent storage chamber to prevent loss of materials.


A smart fob for interfacing with a smart module includes: a low frequency receiver for receiving a first password and a smart module ID number in a low frequency signal; a memory for storing a registration number with which the smart fob is registered to the smart module; a smart module ID detector connected to the low frequency receiver for waking-up the smart fob if the smart module ID number in the low frequency signal matches the smart module ID number in the memory; a processor for providing a second password derived from the first password and the registration number of the smart fob; and a high frequency transmitter for transmitting the second password in a high frequency signal.


A smart fob for interfacing with a smart module includes: a low frequency receiver for receiving a first password and a smart module ID number in a low frequency signal; a memory for storing a registration number with which the smart fob is registered to the smart module, a smart fob ID number for the smart fob and a stored smart module ID number; a processor for providing a second password derived from the first password and the registration number of the smart fob; a smart module ID detector connected to the low frequency receiver for waking-up the processor if the received smart module ID number in the low frequency signal matches the stored smart module ID number in the memory; and a high frequency transmitter for transmitting the second password in a high frequency signal.

A verification engine for verifying that a retailer is an authorized sales channel for goods created by a manufacturer includes a controller configured to receive a verification request from a purported retailer initiated by a customer seeking to purchase goods. The request includes verification data and a first signature. The verification data includes at least identification of the purported retailer and the goods manufacturer, and the first signature includes a result of an operation on the verification data by a cryptographic key provided by the purported retailer. The verification data is compared to a listing to determine if the purported retailer is an authorized retailer. If so, a second signature is generated and compared to the first. A message is sent to the customer verifying or denying a relationship between the purported retailer and the goods manufacturer based on one or more of the comparisons.
