The didactical game can be considered part of an educational scenario in teaching and learning. This article aims to show how fundamental concepts from the economic-mathematical modeling area can be visualized, how to organize knowledge in coherent scenarios, presented in an educational game manner, to gain the attention and influence students' spirit of competition. At the same time, benefitting from the 3D visualizations, the graphical interfaces for navigating in multidimensional spaces or projections are defined and thus imagination used for mental models construction is stimulated and human intuition is capitalized in the process of knowledge discovery, assisted by computer with analytic algorithms type. Exploration becomes a game feature and can be pursued both numerically and visually. 3D environments give realism to visualizations that are found in games, facilitating real-imaginary relationship throughout the game and enhancing learning motivation. The innovative character of teaching is given by the method in which the teacher creates his own educational scenario by considering specific learning objectives, age particularities of students, time and space-related resources, the technical requirements of the game and the evaluation method. The paper makes several references to such projects, developed by the authors and implemented in working with students. Game based on demonstration (using simulation, modelling or visualization) coordinates users to obtain relevant information; the multiple representations of knowledge are so used and compared through a multitude of examples.

Sustainability (Switzerland) | Year: 2015

The aim of the present study is to examine and evaluate the evolving character of sustainability management in corporations, the significance of environmental protection and sustainability, and barriers to carrying out an incorporated and strategic firm-wide advance of social responsibility. In the present paper, we focus on the contribution of sustainability undertakings towards enhancing corporate performance, the financial involvements of sustainability position and operation, and the chief function of values in corporate policy. Our paper contributes to the literature by supplying proof of elements that lead to the triumph of business patterns for sustainable development, processes through which stakeholders are affecting corporate sustainability conduct, and the link between economic growth and the environment. © 2015 by the authors.

The paper relates to some newly introduced concepts in the practical and theoretical applications of the ITC technologies; all are related to an expected increase in the quality of the life of citizens and are vast consumers of tangible and intangible investments. The interest for the management at the domestic level comes from the need to prioritize resources, vast majority being publicly sustained. All that is pursued is the effective ways fi configure the usage of the ITC uses. The Electronic government (E-Gov) is the use of technology, particularly Web-based Internet applications, to enhance the access to and delivery of government information and services to citizens, business partners, employees, agencies, and other entities. E-Gov promises its government sponsors a powerful tool for improving processes and communicating with the rest of the world.

In the present paper my aim is to present the characteristics of the crime scene in the case of lawbreaking regarding nuclear materials and other radioactive matters and the nuclear weapons regime in Romania. The research at the crime scene is a highly technical activity with tactic components, underdone by experts in criminal prosecution who immediately perceive the event's crime scene. Most of the times these refer to infringements of the law, determination of the circumstances and evidence take-off in order to evaluate and explain them. Here, the main purpose to identify the criminal and his/her guilt. Inobservance of the nuclear materials or any other radioactive materials regime and inobservance of the explosive matters are crimes described by the Romanian Criminal Code in art 2791 and art 280. Forensic investigation of the two abovementioned crimes in general and crime scene in particular are highly complex and intricate. The activities specific for the crime scene investigation are the photography and video-recording of the crime scene as a whole, the explosive matters, the nuclear materials or radioactive materials; air evidence take off with recently used explosives, investigation of the human odor with the help of trained dogs, taking into account both the field characteristics and the atmospheric conditions. © SGEM2012 All Rights Reserved by the International Multidisciplinary Scientific GeoConference SGEM Published by STEF92 Technology Ltd.

In the present study I am analysing the infringement of water polluting together with other infringements of the public health as described in the Romanian Criminal Law in art 311. The Romanian Criminal Law stipulates that infringement of water sources and networks by any means, if harmful for people, animals or plants, is punished with prison from 6 months to 4 years or fine. The water sources that the law refers to are: springs, fountains, lakes and bowls. The water networks refer to pipes, filters, canals, cradles etc. The analysis of the infringement of water polluting is done according to the well-known doctrine structure and comprises: the infringement object and subject, the content of the infringement: the objective side of the material element, the immediate consequence and cause relation; the subjective side of the infringement as well as their means of realisation and the sanctions applicable. © SGEM2012 All Rights Reserved by the International Multidisciplinary Scientific GeoConference SGEM Published by STEF92 Technology Ltd.

Quality - Access to Success | Year: 2014

Faced with significant changes and mutations at consumer level, the EU food market finds itself in a position in which it has to function by rules that could be considered "nonspecific". From a traditionally inelastic market, it has gradually become a consumer market on which the producers have to innovate constantly in order to meet the demands of the consumers who are in search of new foods, which would have new properties and would satisfy superior needs. Therefore, diversifying one's assortment of goods is key to the producers' survival, and the "light" foods are one of the ways chosen to this end.

As markets expended in Europe and in the world, the logistic chains grew more complex for all the goods, in general, and for food products, in particular. Given the nature of food products, the high number of primary and secondary processors, as well as retailers can and actually does generate problems in maintaining a "chain of quality" for these goods and in providing consumer safety. Therefore, we need to implement control systems and mechanisms that would trace down and ensure food quality in all the components along the logistic chain. Traceability is the most important of all these mechanisms.

Quality on the developed food market today is a complex concept with a multifold approach. It is defined in terms of the interests of those who use it in order to attain their market goals, i.e. consumer satisfaction, economic interests or food safety and of the interest in having a market that functions according to complex yet clear and balanced regulations. The new context in which the European Union scientifically and economically places food quality urges Romania as one of the youngest members of the EU economic system to get acquainted to mutations that have occurred in this sector and to find means to actively adapt to them at the level of both authorities and market players.

The government borrowing represents an alternative to increase current taxation. Politicians and voters would rarely (perhaps never) accept higher taxation to cover their current spending. The intergenerational equity of public debt means that it is not the future generations, but those who receive the public goods and services that should pay for them. This paper aims at showing that not all the public spending must be covered through present taxes, but only current expenditure, while expenditure for capital accumulation should be covered when the benefits will occur. The paper also intends to show that financial stability requires a better management of public debt over the business cycle and a fiscal attitude closer to the concept of balanced budgets.
