The main objective of this research is to integrate honeypot and IDS, which can generate and activate snort rule automatically based on the data sending by honeypot server. The new technic is present in this paper, honeypot will collect the data, send the data to IDS, and then IDS will evaluate and generate the rules automatically. Rule that has been made will be active to filter packets sent by the user on the network. We compare rule generated automatically with default rule in snort system for the same pattern. The performance of the proposed technique was evaluated by measuring the effectiveness of IDS server from the attacking. © 2015 IEEE. Source

Nowadays, crowd sourcing becomes trend that eventually affects the way of a project is managed. The success stories of crowd sourcing are noticeable, and so are the failures. Crowd sourcing provides access to diverse and abundant talent pools with relatively low cost. A project manager can easily recruit a geographically separated unknown individual or group to perform a task. However, a project manager should understand the benefits and risks of crowd sourcing as the considerations for adopting it. Moreover, the position of recruited individual or group should be clear, whether they are part of virtual project team or just another form of outsourcing. This research reviews the current literatures on crowd sourcing and project management to study the benefits and risks of crowd sourcing, its relation to project management and how the recruited workers should be positioned in the project. The capability of a consumer to purchase products online or via telephone, and then has the purchased items to be delivered safely to her/his address is a value added by sellers. The products may vary and food is one of items that can be ordered via website and delivered to customers' location. In daily life, some fast-food chain restaurants in Indonesia have implemented this type of service to their customers. However, one of the main problems in current delivery service is the routing optimization. The delivery staff may have little knowledge about location, street names and the shortest path to deliver some ordered food, especially in relatively big city. Moreover, the customers usually do not have much information about the status of their order nor the position of the delivery staff. This research develops an online food ordering system and applies heuristic algorithm to solve the so-called Travelling Sales Problem (TSP) in routing optimization. The system also uses the Global Position Systems (GPS) technology in Android-based mobile phone and takes the advantage of Google Maps for coordinate-to-map solution. © 2016 IIJ. Source

Bank customers tend to gather much information before making a decision. In doing so, customer visits the official website of several banks and browses related information for the decision making process. Nowadays, more applications are built to extract data from several sources, store them in database and display the data side-by-side so that users can easily do comparison. In this paper, a three-tier application is designed and built to automatically collecting data from official website of Indonesia banks and disseminate them using mobile application. The data layer in the architecture has database and a web-based data aggregation application built. Meanwhile, web services are created to represent the business logic. The web-mining focuses on bank currency exchange rate information. During the research, data was taken from 10 official website of Indonesia banks. © 2015, American Scientific Publishers. The recent advancement in mobile technologies opens opportunities to build application for supporting various disciplines. One of the examples is to build mobile application for sport event. In this research, a mobile application is designed and developed for football competition that combined single elimination and round-robin tournament types. Android is chosen as the platform for developing the mobile application because of the popularity among mobile platforms and the large number of Android-based smartphones users. The football event mobile application has features to display information about the tournament. In addition to that, a web-based application is created to manage the data of the mobile application and is also backed with web services as the middleware to communicate data between the mobile application and the database server. Moreover, the foot- ball mobile application implements Google-based Application Program Interfaces (APIs) to enrich the application features.
