The efficiency of communication system is the key factor for the operational capability of naval ship. Through analyzing the evaluation index of naval fleet's communication system, a satisfactory-degree based on efficiency evaluation model is founded by applying the grey relational analysis. The steps of the model include gathering index data based on index tree, constituting the reference sequence (optimal sequence), evaluating the difference sequence and the correlation coefficient, calculating the correlation degree and analyzing the index satisfactory-degree based on absolute correlation degree. The correlation degree is bigger, the scheme is better. On the other hand, the key index is found through calculating the absolute correlation degree. According to them, it provided a way for improving the efficiency of the communication system. © 2017 IEEE.

In order to meet the need of terrain model in a ship driving simulation training system, a method of terrain modeling based on S-57 electronic chart is proposed to solve the existing problems. This method integrates three-dimensional terrain data generation technology, GPS positioning technology and GIS geographic information technology, and proposes a method of 3D terrain data generation, radar terrain generation, water depth data generation and navigation object data extraction based on unified data source of electronic chart data. 3D scene terrain data, radar terrain data, water depth data and navigation object data are accurately matched with the electronic chart while ensuring the operation efficiency and fidelity of 3D scene. The results show that the method is flexible and feasible. © 2017 IEEE.

Fuzziness is inherent in decision data and decision making process. In this paper, interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy (IVIF) sets are used to capture fuzziness in multiattribute decision making (MADM) problems. The purpose of this paper is to develop a methodology for solving MADM problems with both ratings of alternatives on attributes and weights being expressed with IVIF sets. In this methodology, a weighted absolute distance between IF sets is defined using weights of IF sets. Based on the concept of the relative closeness coefficients, we construct a pair of nonlinear fractional programming models which can be transformed into two simpler auxiliary linear programming models being used to calculate the relative closeness coefficient intervals of alternatives to the IVIF positive ideal solution, which can be employed to generate ranking order of alternatives based on the concept of likelihood of interval numbers. The purpose of this paper is to develop a linear programming methodology for solving multiattribute group decision making problems using intuitionistic fuzzy (IF) sets. In this methodology, IF sets are constructed to capture fuzziness in decision information and decision making process. The group consistency and inconsistency indices are defined on the basis of pairwise comparison preference relations on alternatives given by the decision makers. An IF positive ideal solution (IFPIS) and weights which are unknown a priori are estimated using a new auxiliary linear programming model, which minimizes the group inconsistency index under some constraints. The distances of alternatives from the IFPIS are calculated to determine their ranking order. Moreover, some properties of the auxiliary linear programming model and other generalizations or specializations are discussed in detail. Validity and applicability of the proposed methodology are illustrated with the extended air-fighter selection problem and the doctoral student selection problem. © 2010 Elsevier Inc. In view of the theoretical significance and practical value of graph cuts, the image segmentation methods based on graph cuts are reviewed in this paper. Firstly, the basic principle of image segmentation method based on graph cuts is analyzed in detail, which mainly focuses on the relation between graph cuts and energy minimization involving both qualitative and quantitative analysis. Secondly, the steps of image segmentation methods based on graph cuts are generalized as designing energy function, constructing graph, and minimum cut/maximum flow approaches. Thirdly, the current status of image segmentation methods based on graph cuts is combed and commented. Finally, the future for these segmentation methods is pointed out.

This letter presents a simple computer-aided approach for designing matrix filter based on the least-square criterion. Three methods are considered for designing matrix filter. In design method 1, we minimize the normalized mean-square error between the designed and desired filter response in the passband subject to the normalized mean-square error constraint in the stopband. In design method 2, the objective function and the constraint in the design method 1 are reversed. In design method 3, the optimal matrix filter which has the general mean-square error is considered. Numerical results show that the proposed approach is effective for designing matrix filter and filtering short data records. © 2010 IEEE.

This correspondence derives the uncertainty principle bounds for the linear canonical transform (LCT) of a complex signal. Vessel weapon firing precision is deeply influenced by the attitude, which also affects vessel combat efficiency. In order to realize the high precision determination of vessel weapon attitude, this paper presented the weapon attitude measuring theory based on CIRS(Conventional Inertial Reference System). The theory contained star apparent place synchronous calculation, star image coordinates calculation and three-axis attitude solution. It was realized that weapon attitude measurement could be carried out in the sailing, which error was not accumulated. The passive and photoelectrical jamming to anti-ship missile in the condition of network centric warship formation is an important research issue of fleet EW operation. An approach jamming method of shipborne surface-type infrared decoy countering the infrared image guided anti-ship missile is put forward. By analyzing the countering process the jamming effectiveness evaluation model is constructed. By simulation the method is proved t reasonable and effective. This method breaks through the traditional restrict that the passive and photoelectricity jamming measure can only be used in the end self-defence and provides a new method for network centric worship formation to support each other. © 2015 SPIE.
