It is very important to identify and characterize the immune-related genes that respond to pathogens. Until recently, only some of the immune-related genes in sea cucumbers had been characterized. Their expression patterns after pathogen challenges have been analyzed via expressed sequence tag libraries, microarray studies and proteomic approaches. These genes include lectins, antimicrobial peptides, lysozyme, enzymes, clotting protein, pattern recognition proteins, Toll receptors, complement C3 and other humoral factors that might participate in the innate immune system of sea cucumbers. Although the participation of some of these immune molecules in the sea cucumber's innate immune defense against invading pathogens has been demonstrated, the functions of many of the molecules remain unclear. This review focuses on the discovery and functional characterization of the immune-related molecules from the sea cucumber for the first time and provides new insights into the immune mechanisms of the sea cucumber, which opens new possibilities for developing drugs for novel anti-bacterial and antiviral applications in fisheries. © 2015 Elsevier Ltd.

Although still in its primary phase up to now, the research about the application of EMC technology in engineering field has become more and more noticeable. In this paper the main subjects for EMC research are introduced, then some hot research topics concerning the EMC technology application are described, involving the application in such areas as the military, industrial electronics, power system and customer electronics. This paper estimates the static strength of a certain type of cooling fan designed by a company in the rotating speed of 1260 rpm and 1380 rpm, evaluates static strength according to the cooling fan's permissible stress in F state and T1 state, estimates the fatigue strength according to the operation load of cooling fan suffering from different direction when locomotive running and evaluates the cooling fan fatigue life according to the IIW standard. Static strength and fatigue strength calculation using ANSYS companies in the United States commercial version of the ANSYS software to complete. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

In this paper, The static strength analysis on the output of the two types of cylinder block models (concave and no concave) when they are working were studied. To make sure that the cylinder block is safe during the whole working process, it should satisfy the requirement of the allowable stress of material on the maximum load conditions. And the firing order of the cylinders are continuous. Nowadays while the environmental protection consciousness of the people are constantly strengthening, the development and application of energy efficient vehicles, especially electric vehicles, have attracted the attention of governments and car manufacturers. Several classification approaches for electric vehicles are introduced in this paper, and the electric vehicle-related industry development goals for the next ten years in China are briefly described. Ni-Fe-Cr alloy coatings were deposited on the surface of porous foam nickel in order to improve the performance of it which included heat and corrosion resistance properties. Porous Ni-Fe-Cr foam alloys prepared by electro-deposition under different electroplating conditions, the effects of concentration of CrC13·6H2O and FeCl2·4H2O, current density, pH value and temperature of plating solution on the compositions of the coatings were studied by energy dispersive spectrometer, and the microstructure and surface morphologies of the coatings were observed by X-ray diffraction spectroscopy, optical microscopy and scanning electron microscope. Cr and Fe contents of the coatings were precisely determined by ICP-OES, and the thermal shock and heat-resistance properties of the porous foam alloys were tested. Experiment results show that the Ni-Fe-Cr alloy coating layer by a dense arrangement and a face centered cubic structure which has good thermal shock and heat resistance properties with 21.2 wt% Cr and 43.9 wt% Fe is obtained using the solution containing 160 g/L of CrC13·6H2O and 9 g/L of FeCl2·4H2O with pH value of 2.0 and current density of 24 A/dm2 at 30 ℃ for thirty minutes.

The Temperature Rise Test of Low Voltage Switchgear Assembly has rather high requirements for the test equipment; however, the present test equipment commonly has the problem of complicated test circuits, current regulation difficulty, high power consumption etc [1]. Therefore, in order to raise the present test level, we have devised new test methods and designed a new type of current adjusting device for the Temperature Rise Test. This new type of device has the advantages of easy operation, compact structure, flexible motion, low power consumption, low cost, high precision etc. Practical application has proved that it can meet the technical requirements for the Temperature Rise Test of Low Voltage Switchgear Assembly. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

A credible method was developed for the simultaneous determination of 7 rhodamine dyes in hot chili producis based on high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS/MS). The samples were extracted with hexane or methanol-water (l: 1, v/v) and then cleaned up by a solid phase extraction cartridge. The target analytes were separated on an SB-C18 column with gradient elution using acetonitrile and water (containing 0. 1% (v/v) formic acid for both) as mobile phases. The identification and quantification were achieved by using ESI-MS/MS in positive ion mode and with multiple reaction monitoring (MRM). The linear ranges were from 0.000 5 to 1. 0 mg/L with the correlation coefficients (r2) above 0. 997 for all the 7 rhodamine dyes. The limits of detection (LOD) in chili powder and chili oil were from 0. 21 to 51 μg/kg and 0. 19 to 25 μ/kg, respectively. The relative standard deviations of intra-day and inter-day were both less than 20%. The recoveries of the method were between 85. 0% and 106%. The method is simple, rapid, highly sensitive and suit-able for the simultaneous determination of 7 rhodamine dyes in foods.

A high performance liquid chromatographic method (HPLC) and sample pretreat-ment method were developed for the simultaneous determination of pantothenic acid vitamin B5 and D-panthenol provitamin B5 in cosmetics with different matrices including of creams lotions; aqueous cosmetics oily cosmetics; wax-based cosmetics; nail polish etc. A liquid-liquid extraction system composed of water and water-immiscible solvent was used to preliminarily separate the target components from other oil-soluble components and surfactants in cosmetics; then macromolecular water-soluble matrices in cosmetics were removed by coprecipitation with potassium ferrocyanide-zinc acetate precipitating agent; and then under acid condition; pantothenic acid and D-panthenol were enriched on a C18 solid-phase extraction sorbent. After the removal of other water-soluble impurities > target components were eluted by 40% methanol and then separated and quantitatively analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography with external standard method. Good linear relationship was achieved in the concentration range of 0. 1-10 μxg/g for pantothenic acid and D-panthenol. The linear correlation coefficients were separately 0. 998 9 and 0. 999 6. The average recoveries of the target components in cosmetics were more than 90%. Limit of detection of the method was 30 μxg/g and the limit of quantification was 100 μxg/g. This method can be used to simultaneously determine pantothenic acid and D-panthenol in cosmetics. The results are accurate and reliable.
