The mosquito control aerosol includes: a pressure-resistant container equipped with a metering spray valve, that contains a liquid aerosol-forming material including an insect pest control component and an organic solvent, and a propellant; and a spray button having a spray outlet connected to the metering spray valve. The volume of the liquid aerosol-forming material sprayed when the spray button is pressed down once is adjusted to 0.1 to 0.4 mL, and the spray force thereof as measured at a distance of 20 cm from the spray outlet at 25C is adjusted to 0.3 to 10.0 gf. At least a portion of the liquid aerosol-forming material is sprayed from the spray outlet in the form of adhesive particles X which adhere to an exposed portion in a treatment space. Alternatively, the liquid aerosol-forming material is sprayed from the spray outlet in the form of adhesive particles X which adhere to an exposed portion in a treatment space and suspendable particles Y which suspend in the treatment space.

Provided is a disposable warmer in which the fragrance-releasing effect of a fragrance material can be exhibited and heat generation can be kept stable while an unpleasant smell derived from an iron powder is reduced. In an air-permeable bag 1, an exothermic composition including an iron powder, an activated carbon 3, a salt, a water absorbent resin, and water, a fragrance material 4, and a fragrance material adsorption inhibition agent 5 for inhibiting the adsorption of the fragrance material 4 into the activated carbon 3, are enclosed. The fragrance material adsorption inhibition agent 5 includes a low active substance having an iodine adsorption performance lower than that of the activated carbon 3. The low active substance is a precursor of the activated carbon before activation, preferably a carbonaceous material.

After the chemical structure of "natural pyrethrins," the insecticidal ingredient of pyrethrum flowers, was elucidated, useful synthetic pyrethroids provided with various characteristics have been developed by organic chemists throughout the world, leading to the advancement of pyrethroid chemistry. Even in pyrethroids with high selective toxicity, a chemical design placing too much importance on efficacy improvements may invite loss of the safety margin. It is strongly hoped that the development of household pyrethroids and their preparations for use in living environments around humans and pets will be achieved in the future by retaining the characteristics of natural pyrethrins. © 2011 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.

A volatile-agent containing structure is provided which is large in sectional area compared to the entire size, whereby a volatile agent can be volatilized at a sufficiently high rate, and of which the surface area that is brought into contact with the container is sufficiently small, whereby volatilization is not practically limited by the contact with the container and soling of the container is prevented. The volatile agent-containing structure is a three-dimensional structure formed from plural corrugated members formed by corrugating rod-shaped members. The corrugated members have their apexes joined together so as to cross each other. This three-dimensional structure is formed from a resin composition containing a volatile agent having volatility and kneaded in the resin so that the volatile agent can bleed onto and volatilize from the surface of the three-dimensional structure.

A flying insect trap is provided which utilizes a combination of colors that is highly attractive to flying insects and thereby achieving high attracting performance and catching performance. The flying insect trap includes a sticky sheet 30 which sticks to the flying insect, a main part 10 on which the sticky sheet 30 is placed, a cover part 20 which is attached to cover the sticky sheet 30, and an entrance 40 provided in the cover part 20, through which the flying insect enters. When the cover part 20 is attached to the main part 10, an internal space S which accommodates the sticky sheet 30 is formed between the main part 10 and the cover part 20. The internal space S is in communication with an external environment infested with the flying insect through the entrance 40. The sticky sheet 30 has an islands-in-sea pattern including a background region P having a color of Hue No. n_(1) [n_(1): 4 (reddish orange) - 6 (yellowish orange)] of the PCCS color wheel and a plurality of island-like portions Q having a color of Hue No. (n_(2) + 2) - (n_(2) + 4) [n_(2) n_(1): 6 (yellowish orange) - 10 (yellow-green)] of the PCCS color wheel.
