The aim of temperature controller is to control the temperature in secure manner. The fuzzy logic controller is the best fuzzy logic controller (FLC) is the best option for these types of control systems. From past twenty years work has been done in the field of fuzzy logic, here a system is designed in fuzzy logic through which we can easily implement the rules of fuzzy and can easily control the temperature along with the speed of fan in a system together. © 2015 IEEE.

The work in this paper presents simulation of CRZ modulation format in a 200 subscribers at 2.5Gbps bit rate Gigabit Ethernet Passive Optical Network (GEPON) FTTH network. A link design for 1:200 splitter is used as Passive Optical Network (PON) element which creates communication between central offices to different users. A booster amplifier is inserted after optical fiber which decreases the value of BER. The simulation result of Bit Error Rate (BER) is found to be 9.2791e-9 at 2.5G/bits systems for CRZ modulation format. Sharp increase in BER occur if data rate increasing up to 5Gbps. © 2015 IEEE.

Vehicle routing problem (VRP) is realistic optimization problem used to find the best feasible route of a vehicle. VRP is mostly used for sorting the different routes of vehicles to provide efficient services to the customers. In this paper, we implement two different heuristics, nearest neighbor insertion and ant colony optimization for solving vehicle routing problem and their respective results are shown by using graphical implementation. While performing the experiment we analyzed both the heuristics and depict which heuristic solve the problem efficiently with respect to cost and time. © 2015 IEEE.

We successfully demonstrate 40 GB/s 8 channels' Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) over free space optical (FSO) communication system. Each channel is transmitting 5 GB/s data rate in downstream separated by 0.8 nm (100 GHz) channel spacing with 1.8 GHz filter bandwidth. DWDM over FSO communication system is very effective in providing high data rate transmission with very low bit error rate (BER). The maximum reach of designed system is 4000 m without any compensation scheme. The simulation work reports minimum BER for Return-to-Zero (RZ) modulation format at different channels 1, 4, and 8 are found to be 2.32e-17, 1.70e-16, and 9.51e-15 at 4000 m distance, respectively. Sharp increase in BER occurs if data rate and distance increase up to 10 GB/s and 5000 m. Copyright © 2016 Sooraj Parkash et al.

Brain-computer interface (BCI) is combination of hardware and software systems that allows the severely or partially disabled persons to communicate with their surroundings. The study of brain activities precisely is an important step in BCI system. Many invasive and non-invasive neuro-imaging techniques are being conducted. In computer vision applications, image enhancement plays an important role. It has been analyzed that the majority of the existing enhancement techniques are in relation to the transform domain methods, which can introduce the color artifacts and also may reduce steadily the intensity of the input image. To overcome this dilemma, a fuzzy based algorithm has been used. This approach could have the ability to boost the contrast in digital images in an efficient manner by utilizing the histogram based fuzzy image enhancement algorithm. The overall objective of this paper is to evaluate the effectiveness of histogram and fuzzy based image en-hancement for various kinds of images like underwater, remote sensing, medical etc. The fuzzy and histogram based enhancement has been designed and implemented in MATLAB using image processing toolbox. The result has shown the effectiveness of the fuzzy based enhancement over the existing techniques. © 2015 Published by Elsevier B.V.

Imaging noise is unwanted information embedded within the original image. Image noise mainly refers to variations in the brightness, illumination, contrast or intensity in images. It is usually formed by the circuitry of scanner or camera sensors used while the acquisition of an image. This paper has focused on to replace the noisy pixel in given window using sorted non-iterative median filter. It has considered traditional median and mean filter with variable window size based filters. The non-iterative median filter has shown effective results as it will replace the noisy pixel with its best suitable alternative among the available noise free pixels. Image processing toolbox has been used to design the given filters in MATLAB in order to perform the experiments. Comparative analysis among the selected filters has shown that the variable window size based medina has quite effective results among others. © 2015 IEEE.

Travelling Salesman Problem is well - known and extensively studied problem which plays an important role in combinatorial optimization and in context of ACO. Ant Colony Optimization is heuristic Algorithm which was initially applied on TSP and is an advance technique applied on various other optimization problems. In the research we study two different kinds of Ant Colony algorithms named as Ant System and the improved version of Ant system known as Max-Min Ant System performed in MATLAB to solve travelling Salesman Problem and their respective results are shown by using graphical implementation. In this paper both systems are analyzed by solving the same example of TSP and depict which system solve the problem efficiently with respect to cost and time. © 2015 IEEE.

The new optimization approach based on bio-inspired algorithms is the Cuckoo Search which is inspired from the life style of Cuckoo bird. In this paper, we explain the cuckoo search algorithm which comes under the evolutionary algorithms for virtual machine consolidation that focuses on minimum power consumption and resource wastage in cloud data centers. In modern technology era, the endeavor of MANET is to provide proficient wireless communication by adopting adhoc routing functionality in mobile nodes. The MANET nodes result in frequent network topology changes, making routing a challenging task. In past, Reactive routing approaches are used as a popular technique that provides scalable solution to relatively large MANET networks, where Hybrid MANET routing algorithms are introduced comprises of both reactive and proactive routing properties. This work is an attempt towards a comprehensive performance evaluation of commonly used reactive AODV protocol with hybrid GRP routing algorithm under varying node density conditions in terms of QoS using OPNET Modeler 17.5 Academic. © 2015 IEEE.
