In order to investigate the long-term prestress losses of reinforced concrete (RC) beams strengthened with prestressed carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) sheets, an incremental differential model is presented in this paper by using the conversion elastic modulus method. In this model, the creep and shrinkage of concrete, creep of adhesive layer and interfacial slip at the concrete-to-CFRP interface are all considered. The closed-form solution for long-term prestress loss is obtained by given boundary conditions and load patterns. The effectiveness of proposed model is validated by being compared with experimental results of the relative researchers' test beams in term of long-term prestress losses. The calculated results show that the proposed model can be used for predicting the long-term prestress losses of reinforced concrete beams strengthened with prestressed CFRP sheets. ©, 2015, Chongqing Medical University. In this paper, we share our recent work related to Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) sensor network with readers. The work mainly focus on the protocol for network system to perform the task of autonomous decentralized data distribution with consideration of economic and low-power RFID-sensor module scheme. We analyzed data pitfall in distributed RFID-sensor network, revealing the reason lies in the phenomenon. A distributed solution to tackle the problem has been designed in a simple way. The test results show that the system with proposed approach provides an efficient and more balanced in data distribution which proves the protocol is feasible for the application scenario.

In this paper, the information security issue on biometric data is studied. We introduce the development of biometric technology with its application in security systems and discuss the significance. Focusing on distribution in space domain and uniform diffusion in frequency domain, a compounded chaotic cipher strategy with dynamic Bernoulli mapping is proposed to improve the performance on cryptographic text with consideration both of volatility and correlation. Aiming at visual original biometric data, related tests and analysis on key space, sensitivity, correlation, and uniform distribution are performed with comparison to diverse schemes including triple data encryption standard algorithm and logistic mapping cipher. Experiments results show that the proposed approach possesses good secure performances on both random scrambling in space domain and uniform distribution in frequency domain. The cryptosystem can be implemented with basic computational operators and provides an efficient and sensitive key space scheme for biometric data protection. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. The displacement and the angle of the continuous beam are researched under the complex loads in this paper. Based on the analytical model suggested by the authors, the nested dynamic objective function is determined to form the optimization of beam deformation, and a program analysis of typical examples is presented. It is compared both analytical model and simulation results based on finite element software of ANSYS10.0. Single stranded DNA (ssDNA)/graphene (GR) nanocomposites were prepared by a chemical route and cast on basal plane graphite (BPG) electrode to construct an ssDNA/GR modified electrode. Copper-zinc superoxide dismutase (SOD) was adsorbed tightly on the surface of the modified electrode and the direct electron transfer of SOD was investigated using cyclic voltammetry. A couple of well-defined and quasi-reversible CV peaks of SOD can be observed and the separation of anodic and cathodic peak potentials is 90 mV in a phosphate buffer solution (pH 7.0). The electron transfer rate constant (ks) of SOD is 1.45 s-1. Furthermore, this biosensor exhibits high analytical performance with a wide linear range (0.05-0.45 μM), low detection limit (3 nM) and fast response time (1.5 s). The results demonstrate that the ssDNA-graphene nanocomposite offers a biocompatible material for the construction of biofuel cells, bioelectronics and biosensors. © 2015 The Authors.

Based on the results of investigation and the suggestion from the experts, the factors influencing the college canteen food quality and safety are found and assessment system for university cafeteria food quality and safety is constructed. With the improved Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to the various indexes for the empowerment and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, the university canteen food quality and safety evaluation method is created. Then based on the example from Bengbu College, the solution of the model is provided, thus it is concluded that the process management factors, food factors and environmental factors, make the biggest influence on the canteen food quality and safety. Meanwhile, the extent of the influence of the second level factor on the canteen food quality and safety is identified and further it should be paid a greater attention to the several factors in order to improve the status of the food quality and safety condition. © Maxwell Scientific Organization, 2013.

In order to balance relatively the energy consumption of network node in wireless sensor networks (WSNs), this paper presents Sink mobility based and energy balancing unequal clustering protocol (SEBUCP). By adopting the improved SFLA (shuffled frog leaping algorithm), SEBUCP chooses the nodes having more residual energy and powerful communication capabilities as cluster heads and divides all nodes into clusters of different size. And competition mechanism between cluster heads is introduced, which is helpful to form a more rational cluster topology. In order to reduce the cluster head replacement frequency, cluster head serves continuously and by comparing nodes weight to determine the cluster head exchange time. The greedy algorithm is introduced to select an optimum relay node between cluster head and Sink. To further reduce the energy consumption of nodes, mobile Sink routing algorithm is also introduced to avoid the "hot-spots" problem. Simulation results demonstrate that SEBUCP has good performance on the network lifetime, energy balance and so on. © 2013 ACADEMY PUBLISHER.

Poly (diallyl dimethylammonium chloride)-graphene oxide multilayer film (PDDA/GO) was successfully fabricated onto a silicon substrate by a layer-by-layer self-assembly technology. Subsequently, PDDA/GO were thermally reduced to be PDDA/RGO in a vacuum. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) was carried out to investigate the formation and microstructure of multilayer samples, as well as by water contacted angle (WCA). Results indicates that the multilayer film was prepared successfully, and the surface energy of PDDA/RGO is lower than PDDA/GO. Nano-tribological properties was investigated by an atomic force microscopy (AFM). It was found that the frictional coefficients of PDDA/RGO is better than PDDA/GO. To investigate the micro-tribological behaviors, a ball-on-plate tribometer was adopted. Results show that the layer-by-layer self-assembled multilayer thin film possesses good frictional and anti-wear properties. Therefore, both nano and micro friction performance of PDDA/RGO behaves better than PDDA/GO. Tellurium film modified glassy carbon electrode (TeFE) is presented in this paper as a promising alternative candidate for simultaneous electrochemical determination of Cd(II) and Pb(II) using anodic stripping voltammetry (ASV) analysis. Key operational parameters, including deposition potential and deposition time were investigated. Under the optimum conditions, TeFE exhibited well-defined and separated stripping peaks for Cd(II) and Pb(II) and a linear relationship existed between the currents and the concentrations of Cd(II) and Pb(II) in the range from 20 μg/L to 370 μg/L, with the detection limits of 0.50 μg/L for Cd(II) and 0.80 μg/L for Pb(II) respectively. Compared with the traditional mercury-film electrode and recently introduced bismuth film electrode, the TeFE displays wider potential window, low toxicity and better stability. The interference experiments showed that some metal ions have little influence on the ASV signals of Cd(II) and Pb(II). The proposed tellurium film-based modified electrode, a new promising type of less toxic electrode, opens new opportunities for highly sensitive determination of metal ions. © 2014 The Authors.

This paper briefly introduces the research status of waste concrete recycling, and points out the current waste engineering application research status and existing problems of the concrete utilization.
