As the evaluation of scientific research ability of colleges and universities is affected by many factors, its evaluation process is a very complex system decision-making process. The traditional evaluation method is highly subjective; it is difficult to correctly evaluate the scientific research ability of colleges and universities, resulting in low measurement accuracy. Based on the analysis of relevant factors, a discrete Hopfield neural network model is proposed to measure the scientific research capability of colleges and universities based on intelligent design. First, the Hopfield neural network model for the measurement of scientific research ability is established. Eleven kinds of measurement indexes are selected as the input information of the Hopfield neural network model. The scientific research ability level of colleges and universities is chosen as the output information. Based on the relations between the neural network self-learning abilities, it establishes input and output models and carries out simulation experiments. The simulation results show that the model is efficient, objective and fair, which can meet the demands of scientific research ability measurement analysis in colleges and universities.

Considering the frost-heaving damages and aging of canals, in this paper, we use numerical simulation and laboratory test to analyze the mechanical properties of canals under complex environment with frost heave and high/low temperature, and put forward using anti-seepage film and GCL to inhibit the frost-heaving damages and seepage of canal lining. The results show that, on the whole, the frost-heaving amount gradually decreases from shaded slope to sunny slope; as the linings of the canal bottom and the slope interact with each other, resulting in concentrated stress and generating bi-directional constraints on the surrounding soil of the canal, the frost-heaving amount at the slope toe is small. The frost-heaving amount and the frost-heaving force of the whole arc-bottom canal are smaller than those of the trapezoidal canal. The anti-seepage film laid underneath the canal lining is very effective in preventing frost heave -the frostheaving amount is significantly reduced, and the frost-heaving deformation and frost-heaving force are more evenly distributed in the canal. Anti-seepage film laid underneath the arc-bottom canal lining can get better results. High temperature and low temperature environment will affect the mechanical performance of GCL. When the canal lining is aged for less than 24h, the effect of low temperature is greater on the mechanical performance of the material, and when it is aged for up to 72h, the effect of high temperature on the mechanical performance of the material is obviously greater than that of the low temperature. Improving the moisture content of GCL can inhibit its aging process. © 2017 Techna Group Srl & ESMC Co., Ltd.

As a key component of higher education, the college students' work provides the basic condition and guarantee for cultivating high-level talents. It plays an important role in promoting the comprehensive ability training of high-level talents. There are many factors involved in the assessment of students' work in colleges and universities. The assessment is a complex system analysis project in need of comprehensive analysis of various factors. This paper analyzes the current situation of students' work in colleges and universities, and points out its shortcomings. Summing up the limitations of the current work assessment of higher education institutions, the author improves the work evaluation system of colleges and universities, and establishes a new system of college students' work evaluation from the perspectives of society-universities and colleges-students, aiming to improve the credibility of the assessment results. Based on Grey system theory, the author conducts a Grey relational analysis, constructs a measurement model of student work evaluation in colleges and universities, and realizes the quantitative analysis of examination results.

Higher vocational education focuses on cultivating the production, construction, management, and service skills of specialized personnel. In this way, this level of education focuses on the practical needs of the society. English teaching not only improves the English foundation of students but also strengthens their practical ability to use English. To explore the characteristics of English teaching and establish an innovative English teaching management in higher vocational colleges, this paper employs the innovation management perspective in examining the instruction of English in higher vocational colleges. A survey on the current situation of higher vocational English teaching revealed that the students of higher vocational colleges in China had weak English skills and that their teachers adopted backward methods in English instruction. The relevant data were analyzed, and the teaching innovation management idea was proposed to improve the learning enthusiasm and efficiency of students as well as provide an effective reference experience that can help teachers and students innovate in other subjects.

Water resources must exist in the forms of water factors and water commodities. Based on this feature as well as the actual situation of water resource remuneration collection of our country, this thesis has included water production and supply industry, factors reward of water resources and the computable general equilibrium model of water resources of production water supply subsidy. Three scenes have been established, they are the rise in price of water factors, adjustment of production water supply subsidy and technical progress. Setting Jiangxi Province as an example, this thesis has manufactured SAM form, utilized CGE model to simulate the impacts possessed by various scenes on the economy and society and conducted comparable analysis of the simulation results of these three scenes under the same water-saving target. The research result indicates: Raising the price of water factors, cutting down the production water supply subsidy as well as the technical progress can all promote the improvement of water-use efficiency and decrease the total demand of water-use. However, whether analysed from indexes like the total output, GDP, employment, price level or the income of residents or enterprises, the former two scenes will definitely generate negative impact on economy, besides, the negative impact will be larger if cutting down the production water supply subsidy. Technical progress can promote economic development when reaching the water-saving target at the same time. Copyright © 2016, AIDIC Servizi S.r.l.
