By analyzing the electromagnetic coupling path of power cable in hybrid electric cars, the electromagnetic simulation models for car body and power cable are established respectively. Then the calculation model for the electromagnetic radiation intensity of power cable is derived and the electromagnetic radiation characteristics of power cable are simulated. The results show that the length of power cable can change its frequency spectral distribution of electromagnetic radiation, but only has a little effect on radiant intensity. The effects of terminal resistance and the distance between cable and car body are obvious. With the increases in terminal resistance and the distance to earth point, the radiation of power cable will become more intense. Finally the test on real car verifies the good effects of power cable shielding.

The stability of reservoir landslide would be influenced obviously by the fluctuation of water level, especially when the water descends, which is different from common landslide. Due to the unsteady seepage of underground water inside slope caused by the change of water level, the stability analysis of reservoir landslide through fluid-solid coupling is very complicated. At present, most people hold the view qualitatively that the less the permeability coefficient is and the faster the water level changes, the more unfavorable it is to the stability. This view lacks quantitative basis. Based on FEM strength reduction, the paper analyzes the influence of different sets of descending speed and permeability coefficient on the stability of reservoir landslide through fluid-solid coupling analysis. The paper also conducts the relevant analysis on the change of the characteristics of seepage field inside the slope, which provides basis for the study of the failure mechanism and the forecast of reservoir landslide. © (2012) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

Car radiator is an effective barrier to the car's electromagnetic interference. After analyzing the structure of car radiator, it is simplified to be a compact hole pattern model with some thickness, and then comes to the emulation computational model. By using the Finite Integration Technique (FIT), it is researched how the structure parameters of car radiator influence its near fields electromagnetic shielding effectiveness. From the emulation results, it can be found out that: ceteris paribus, less hole area, longer hole distance and thicker radiator mean the car radiator's near fields electromagnetic shielding effectiveness higher. As for the near fields electromagnetic shielding effectiveness, ceteris paribus, copper car radiator is higher than aluminous one, car radiator with rectangle hole is higher than that with trapezium hole, and car radiator with symmetrical arrangement trapezium hole is higher than that with oblique arrangement trapezium hole.

Through the analysis on the principle of electromagnetic radiation interference (EMI) of wiper motor, the issue is simplified into the radiation interference of its wiring harness, and then a vehicle model for the electromagnetic radiation of wiper motor is established. The wiring harness is simulated as discretized transmission line model with lumped parameters, to calculate its current distribution as the exciting source of wiring harness and its radiation characteristics is investigated by using finite integration technique. The results show that the electromagnetic interference of wiper motor has obvious influences on the antenna and radio in vehicle. The results of simulation on the corresponding EMI suppression measures indicate that for suppressing the radiation intensity of harness, the reduction in contact resistance of wiper motor has no apparent effects, while the common-mode/differential-mode capacitor filtering have better effects, in particular the former, and adding series inductance on the base of common-mode capacitor filtering to form a low-pass filter can further reduce harness radiation. With this result as reference, a modification for EMI is conducted on the wipe motor of a real car, whose radiation exceeds the standard limit, by adding low-pass filter, leading to significant reduction in EMI and hence meeting the requirements of regulation.
