To study the dynamic characteristics of bucket balancing system and improve its control precision, a new type of electro-hydraulic proportional leveling system for aerial work platform was presented. According to its working principles and structure parameters, the mathematical model of leveling system was established, and the simulation model of electro-hydraulic proportional closed-loop control system was developed based on AMESim. The influences of simulation parameters and Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) controller on dynamic characteristics of system were studied and analyzed. The simulation results demonstrated that the proposed system had better stability, and the performance of system was improved with the changes of original system's proportion and the decrease of leakage coefficient. Besides, the leveling system's response and accuracy were improved obviously by using PID controller.

In order to enhance and improve the characteristics of Wet Multiple of Disc Brake (WMDB), the WMDB of mining engineering truck's drive axle was considered as research object. The method, which is based on the average flow model of Patir-Cheng, to improve the brake characteristics for wet multiple of disc brake was discussed in this paper. A compact method of detecting the influence of permeability of friction materials between friction plate and separate plate on engagement characteristics was also introduced. By employing the factors of the compressibility and the asperities body for representing the real engagement, a characterization for different types of permeability was presented. The performance of the proposed method was demonstrated for a wet multiple of disc brake system through simulations and experiments. The wet multiple of disc brake (WMDB) in mining engineering truck's drive axle was studied to enhance the characteristics of WMDB. A prediction system specific to the drag characteristics phenomenon during in wet brake non-engagement was established, considering the surface grooves effect, film shrinkage and laminar N-S equations as factors. The prediction system was built up to understand drag torque and temperature's variation of wet brake at different volume flow, dynamic viscosity and friction pair clearance. The results indicated that when the friction pair gap is under variable circumstance, the larger friction pair gap of predictive models feature, the lower peak torque; when the volume is variable, the peak torque rises with an increasing volume flow of torque prediction model; when the cooling liquid viscosity is dynamic, the peak torque increases as the torque prediction model coolant dynamic viscosity is greater.
