To find a new algorithm for non-invasively detecting ankle brachial index (ABI) by synchronous acquisition of four limbs pulse wave signals and cuff pressure-wave signals based on waveform character method and amplitude coefficient method in priority rule. The turning point was judged in certain range by calculating the difference of adjoining pulse waves and their relative ratio based on priority rule. The method settled the problem of misjudgement of the turning point before systolic blood pressure (SBP) and around average pressure. Many cases analyses and lots of clinical tests proved the algorithm effective and reliable. ABI is a handy and dependable predictor of atherosclerosis; it is associated with conventional risk factors such as age, blood pressure, and so on. © 2013 Springer-Verlag.

The network of public opinion has reflected more and more influence to government and society. A new multi-indicator grey target decision model with the positive and negative bull's-eye is studied. We propose the method and its algorithmic steps, then evaluate and rank the influence of the network public opinions, by the number of news and microblogging messages. © 2015 IEEE.

This paper presents a novel grey clustering evaluation method based on standard triangular whitenization weight function by comparing the existing two types of triangular whitenization weight functions. We employ the new method to evaluate quality of human resources in recruitment for one college. The result shows that the new method provides improvement over the traditional methods on model simplification and universal application. © 2013 IEEE.

Internet mass incidents have become an important issue in China. To evaluate the scale of Internet mass incidents, we can collect the data of views, posts and replies in some typical websites such as BBS, Microblog and SNS, etc. However, different website takes different importance in transmission of internet mass incidents. The existing research usually sums the data of posts and replies of websites without considering the weight of different websites. This paper applies Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine the weights of websites and evaluates the scale of internet mass incidents based on the weight grey target decision model. The results show that the method of weight grey target can achieve a more reasonable sort result by considering the weights of websites. © 2013 IEEE.

Arterial stiffness is a very important physical parameter and the measurement to it is very important in clinic. This paper describes the principle and arithmetic of arterial stiffness index. The measuring algorithm based on oscillometric method is also discussed. The algorithm proves effective and reliable through the analysis of many cases and doing lots of clinical tests, it has been developed software under LabVIEW7.0 and applied in the hospital. Furthermore, it can give the information of the measurer's arterial stiffness and provide reference to doctor to determine the measurer's cirrhosis level. © (2012) Trans Tech Publications.
