Present invention provides an air filter material using a laminated electret nonwoven fabric subjected to electret processing in which one layer or a plurality of layers of nonwoven fabrics (referred to as nonwoven fabric B) including fibers having a mean fiber diameter in the range of 10 micrometers to 100 micrometers and being larger than a mean fiber diameter of fibers constituting nonwoven fabric A are laminated on at least one side of a nonwoven fabric (referred to as nonwoven fabric A) obtained by mixing two kinds of fibers having a mean fiber diameter in the range of 0.1 micrometer to 15 micrometers and having a different melting point (fibers having a lower melting point are defined as fibers D and fibers having a higher melting point are defined as fibers E), and a laminated electret filter material having a low pressure loss and a high collection efficiency. The filter material is suitably used for a medical mask, an industrial mask, a general purpose mask or the like.

The invention provides a stretchable nonwoven fabric which has concavo-convex structure on the surface, is bulky and highly flexible, has air permeability, and is capable of displaying stretchability in all directions irrespective of the directions of MD and CD. Specifically, the invention provides a stretchable nonwoven fabric, comprising a fiber layer (1) containing a heat-bondable fiber and a fiber layer (2) containing a conjugate fiber composed of resin components different from each other wherein the fiber layer (2) is laminated to at least one surface of the fiber layer (1), both fiber layers are integrated, the fibers of both fiber layers were no press-flattened at heat-bonded parts which is partly formed by heat-bonding of the heat-bondable fiber, and the fiber layer (1) forms a convex structure protruded to the fiber layer (1) side between the heat-bonded parts.

Patent
Chisso Corporation and Chisso Polypro Fiber Company Ltd | Date: 2011-10-12

A composite material as a sheet material is described, being relatively cheap, most useful as a raw material of a sanitary product or the like, such as underwear, dust-proof mask or dispensable paper diaper, etc., and good in processability, stretchability, gas-permeability, softness, and touch. The composite material is formed by laminating a stretchable layer and a conjugate spunbonded nonwoven fabric including conjugate fibers including a low-melting-point component and a high-melting-point component. The conjugate fibers are partially bonded to each other by thermocompression, wherein each bonded portion has fine folded structures including alternate hill and valley regions in the CD, and the distance between neighboring hills is 100-400 m in average. The conjugate spunbonded nonwoven fabric exhibits stretchability through the spread of the fine folded structures, and has, at 5% elongation, a CD-strength of 0.1 N/5 cm or less and an MD/CD strength ratio of 200 or more.

The present invention provides a processing apparatus and a processing method capable of producing a point-through-air nonwoven fabric wherein hot air is allowed to penetrate through spots of a web or a sheet-like material and fibers at the penetration site are heat-bonded. Specifically, the present invention provides a processing apparatus for hot-air treatment nonwoven fabric, comprising: a rotating running endless belt with holes, a hot-air blowing apparatus which blows out hot air from an internal side of the endless belt with holes toward an outer side thereof, and an endless belt for fiber conveyance which is arranged on a side opposite to the hot-air blowing side of the hot-air blowing apparatus across the endless belt with holes and rotates with passing the hot-air therethrough.
