We made a TEM experimental study in a copper nickel mine with fluxgate sensor and traditional induced voltage sensor by making a comparison with two kinds of data, the result indicates that later channel data collected by fluxgate sensor is more stable and inversion depth is more deeper than induced sensor. The theoretical model results show that, under the same conditions, the data collected by fluxgate sensor is more help to find deeper ore than traditional sensor, and it has a higher lateral resolution than induce sensor too.

The failure of the vertical tank bottom seriously affects the security and environmental work of the oil tank, and it is difficult to avoid the up and down surface corrosion in single bottom using, so the double-bottom is proposed. The double-bottom hasn't be used for the large vertical oil tank in China till now. Considering the foreign standards and the project experience, the common double-bottom structures are comparatively analyzed, and the shell-bottom connecting structures and the leak detection methods of the double-bottom are discussed, to provide reference of the double-bottom design for the large vertical oil tank. © 2015, Lanzhou Petroleum Machinery Research Institute.
