A synthesized cationic reagent named polyamide-epichlorohydrin (PAE) was used to cationize cotton fabrics which were dyed with nanoscale pigments after PAE modification. The results showed that when the PAE concentration was below 7% (owf), the K/S value increased nearly linearly with increasing of PAE concentration, and excess that concentration the K/S value did not increase further. With increasing the pH value of cationization bath, the K/S value increased first and then decreased, the maximum K/S value appeared at pH 9-10. Cotton fabrics cationized at 80°C for 20 min exhibited the best cationizing result. Both the pigment uptake and the color strength reached their own maximum values when the dye bath was neutral. When the pigment concentration was 1% (owf) the addition of 1g/L sodium chloride in the dye bath could decrease the pigment uptake while for 5% (owf) pigment concentration the uptake increased with increasing the amount of sodium chloride. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.

In order to have a better understanding of the jutecell knitted fabric wearability, in paired analysis, we used jutecell fabrics and cotton fabric, including plain stitch rib stitch and interlock stitch, to investigate basic mechanical properties of fabrics. The results showed that in three different organization of cernet knitted fabric sampel of jutecell, wear resistance rule, tabby was best, double rib was the second and rib was the worst. Gas permeability of plain stitch rib stitch and interlock stitch reduced inturn. The same three different cotton knitted fabric also showed the same rule. The other result was; the properties of jutecell knitted fabric, such as wear resistence philling resistence gas permeability were more than that of cotton kintted fabric.

This paper does some research on Bohemian style sweaters in; decoration design, pattern design and colour design. In decoration design, focuses on the falbala and tassel design, hollow-out design, band embroidery design, manual hook-up design. In pattern design, focuses on the pattern design of concrete and abstract design. In colour design,focuses on the color contrast schemes, color and non-color collocation design. It concludes that, in the design of Bohemia style sweater, the above design features should be put together, in order to make different design and the adornment gimmick to bring up different ethnic styles, different emotional appeal feelings; in order to enrich Bohemia sweater styles, to expand the space of the sweater modeling potentials. This paper provides wider sources of inspiration and creative ideas for sweater designers.

The healthy fabric using natural wool fiber, environmental bamboo fiber and metal fiber with outstanding electromagnetic shielding performance mix in the proportion of 5:2:3 was development. Yarns were spun in the semi-worsted process and the spinning was optimized to minimize the loss of metal fiber and maintain the fiber feature. Reasonable layout of fabric structure made the organizational consistent with fabric style. Through improvement of the weaving parameters, it can make sure the greige quality and high efficient of weaving. A non-ionic ultraviolet prevention finishing agent with padding and high-temperature stereotype techniques was used in the finishing process so as to give the final fabric integrated feature of green nature, anti-radiation and anti-UV function.

This article mainly analyzes how to draw popular patterns in the market with the help of CAD and choose different yarns and fabric structures according to the fashion trend in the design of three kinds of jacquard carded woolen fabric, which are the glabrous surface inner-layer exchange kind, the tridimensional fleece kind and the animal fur pattern fleece kind. By coordinating colored yarns and jacquard structures, adding with reasonable finishing processes, the surface inner-layer exchange fabric would be given glabrous surface, clear pattern, vivid color, soft luster and feel, and the tridimensional fleece fabric would generate a relatively strong third dimension with the concave glabrous and the convexity rich in neat hair, as well as elegant colors, firm feel and soft luster, besides which the animal fur pattern fabric would have a harmonious combination of pattern and colors and appear much lifelike.

For textile technological progress path selection, a long term plan and the spirit of craftsman should be strongly required, so as to resolve the important science and technology according to the requirements of customers and end user and drive the needs for the long run.
