For the ACP1000 reactor type, the detector assembly of measuring in-core neutron and temperature for reactor in-core nuclear detection system is designed. This article introduces the design, capability and experimental results of this detector assembly. Detector assembly for measuring in-core neutron and temperature integrates self-powered neutron detectors and temperature measuring components and install them inside the reactor. Results indicate that the capability of sensitive components meets the design requirements, and shell and sealing assembly can meet the requirements of reactor loop pressure boundary. Integration of in-core measuring systems can improve the security and reliability, can achieve real-time measurements and can be used for reactor protection. Source

An XML data compression method based on Huffman coding has been proposed for the problem where the accessing rate of a production process report system for a large data source is not high in a certain bandwidth. A data processing class was constructed for XML documents to get a high rate word units in this algorithm. With the help of Huffman coding to code specific unit words, the coded document was compressed by the LZMA compression algorithm. The problem of needing the assistance of the document type definition and XML parser in the traditional XML data compression algorithm was solved using this algorithm, which resulted in a good compression effect. The Huffman-LZMA compression algorithm was constructed and was applied to the production process report system design. The experimental compression ratio of the report data reached about 88%. The bandwidth and storage space were saved effectively, and the report accessing rate was improved. Source

In order to reduce the harmful effects of the operation equipment which works in the radiation environment, meet the requirements of continuity and availability within the life cycle, considering the position environmental characteristics of the operation equipment, an algorithm of radiation design margins for total dose effect sensitive devices and displacement damage effect sensitive devices was given, which can control the radiation damage risk. Four risk levels basic on different radiation design margin of the radiation-sensitive devices were described, which can provide a guarantee for the design life of the equipment used in the radiation environment. © 2015, Editorial Board of Nuclear Electronics & Detection Tech. The product of Fangjiashan Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) Unit1 Fuel Handling and Storage (PMC) System is the first Chinese PMC system, with its own intellectual property rights. During the development and design lifecycle for the product, China Nuclear Control System Engineering Co., Ltd (CNCS) was responsible for Verification and Validation (V&V) processes of the PMC system, taking a significant role for ensuring the reliability and safety of the software in PMC system. The PMC V&V project is also the first ever independent V&V project of the China nuclear industry. V&V is a technical discipline of systems engineering. The purpose of V&V is to help the development team build quality into the system during the life cycle. The V&V processes determine whether the product developed satisfies its intended use and user's needs. V&V provides an objective assessment of products and processes throughout the life cycle. This assessment demonstrates whether the requirements are correct, complete, accurate, consistent, and testable. CNCS V&V PMC project team performed PMC V&V activities in compliance with IEEE Std 1012-1998, which is endorsed by NRC Regulatory Guide 1.168-2004. After critical analyses by V&V team, the Software Integrity Level (SIL) of PMC is SIL3, so associated V&V activities must conform to the minimum tasks list in IEEE Std 1012-1998 Table 1. After 2 years of hard working, Fangjiashan NPP Unit1 PMC system V&V activities have been completed. The whole activities and methodology was passed the final evaluation by the customer and was highly compliment by the international V&V expert committee at year of 2012. This paper discusses how to establish V&V organization and infrastructure, and then how to perform V&V activities in high quality, and the specific new and best practice methods, approach and tools for executing V&V tasks. Because the PMC V&V project is the first ever independent V&V project of the China nuclear industry, the methods, approach and tools which was executed in the whole lifecycle and depicted in this paper could help to guide and be referred by the future V&V activities and projects. In order to carry out the relevant provisions of Reactor Special Control Equipment EMC?test, the EMC design of High Frequency Conducted Immunity Test and Surge Immunity Test are introduced in this work, from the aspects of circuit board design, cable connector interface design, software design, based on weak current signal digital processing circuits. By increasing the EMC design in all aspects of equipment development process, the test pass rate of High Frequency Conducted Immunity Test and Surge Immunity Test is improved and the product development cycle is shortened greatly. ©, 2014, Atomic Energy Press.
