A novel method using unclear norm minimization and weighted sparse reconstruction technology to detect crowd abnormal event is proposed. Given over-complete normal frames of video, low rank method is used to form dictionary and the corresponding eigen value of dictionary is also utilized to reflect their weight. With the dictionary and corresponding weight, we can detect whether the test frame is abnormal or not by analyzing weighted sparse reconstruction cost. Finally, experiments on benchmark datasets demonstrate the improvements of performance are 3–4% points on average and validate the advantages of our algorithm compared to the state-of-the-art methods. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2017.

Eu-doped ZnO (ZnO:Eu) hollow nanofibers were fabricated by sputtering using electrospun PVP nanofibers as templates. The morphologies, crystal configuration, bonding structures and optical properties of the ZnO:Eu hollow nanofibers were characterized, respectively. Raman results indicate that there are many oxygen vacancies and/or interstitial zinc in ZnO:Eu hollow nanofibers. Effect of Eu-doping on vibrating modes of ZnO is attributed to the change of defects and impurities due to incorporation of europium. The high intensity ultraviolet emission and red luminescence of the ZnO:Eu hollow nanofibers are observed due to the random lasing of near-band-gap emission of ZnO and an f-f transition of the Eu3+ ions, respectively. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

The UV spectrograph Spectroscopy for the Investigation of Characteristics of the atmosphere of Mars (SPICAM) on board Mars Express made the first observation of auroral-type emission in the cusp region of strong crustal magnetic field on Mars and found that the arc of Martian aurora is very narrow in width, which obviously differs from that of other planets. Based on the observation, we put forward a model of crustal magnetic field on Martian aurora zone through the morphology of Martian aurora. In the model, equivalent currents are proposed, the topology and magnitude of magnetic field generated by these equivalent currents is consistent with that of crustal magnetic field on Martian aurora zone. The morphology of Martian aurora generated through the model matches well with the observations by the Mars Express orbiter. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

The transition phase and electronic properties of LiBH4 were investigated by ab initio plane-wave pseudopotential density functional theory method. According to the theoretical calculation, the phase sequence Pnma → P21/c → Cc is obtained. The phase transitions Pnma → P21/c and P21/c → Cc are at the pressure of 1.64 GPa and 2.83 GPa, respectively, by total energy-volume data. As the pressure increases, the value of the band gap energy is reduced from 7.1 (Pnma) to 6.1 eV (Cc). Moreover, the electronic properties of the high pressure phases are discussed. The electronic properties are linked to the band gap energy, total (partly) density of states and atoms (bond) populations. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

To recycle the waste heat in the exhaust gas of marine diesel engine, a new drying room heated by marine diesel engine exhaust gas is introduced. The drying room's structure, working principle and the main design parameters calculating methods is designed. So far, most existing single-shot quantum coin flipping (QCF) protocols have failed in a noisy quantum channel. Here, we present a nested-structure framework that makes it possible to achieve partially noise-tolerant QCF, due to a trade-off between the security and the justice correctness. It is showed that noise-tolerant single-shot QCF protocols can be produced by filling the presented framework up with existing or even future protocols. We also proved a lower bound of 0.25, with which a cheating Alice or Bob could bias the outcome. © 2015 American Physical Society.

ZnO hollow nanofibers were fabricated by sputtering using electrospun PVP nanofibers as templates. Scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction and UV Raman were used to characterize the morphologies, crystal configuration and bonding structure of ZnO hollow nanofibers. A reactive mechanism of the transformation from poor polycrystalline ZnO (Zn-rich) prepared by sputtering from a metallic Zn target to good polycrystalline ZnO after annealing is proposed. The mechanism results in great decrease of oxygen vacancies and interstitial zinc of the ZnO hollow nanofibers after annealing. Optical properties were investigated by the photoluminescence spectra. Enhancement of ultraviolet emission of the ZnO hollow nanofibers is discussed. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

The complex environment maritime police ship at sea duty law enforcement faced manipulation skills of the crew put forward higher requirements. Evaluation of manual evaluation method is one of law enforcement vessels manipulation skills commonly used methods, the results have certain subjectivity and arbitrariness. This paper attempts to establish a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model evaluation index. The use of computer-aided technology preparation software, through a narrow channel simulation case study Captain comprehensive evaluation skills to manipulate the situation. Compared with the artificial evaluation, the error is small, the results more objective. © 2013 IEEE.

Foreign logistics enterprises use information technology and rapid reactive operation to subordinate Chinese logistics market, the logistics information technology level of our countries' enterprises increased year by year, and informationization level is also higher and higher. As the internet of things technology development, the logistics information management achieved by the internet of things and related RFID technology and GPS can solve many problems in the field of logistics. This paper designed a kind of cargo transportation management system combining RFID, GPS and GPRS technologies and its functions are as follow: RFID is used to record (into) the goods information; GPS is the orientation of the vehicle; GPRS is to transfer the corresponding data information. Each functional module uses the vehicle-mounted computer to control. The collected information was sent to remote control management center though the GPRS. Thus, they can not only manage the loading of the goods effectively, and also realize the orientation of the vehicle, which achieves the objective of discovering and dealing with the error in time, improving the management of the cargo transport efficiency and reducing the time cost. © 2012 IEEE.
