As a kind of artificially synthesized somatostatin analogues containing eight amino acids, octreotide can specificially bind with somatostatin receptor (SSTR) which is usually over-expressed on many tumor cells. So it may have important clinic significance to use octreotide and their analogues labeled with positron radionuclides as the tumor probes for the diagnosis and treatment of SSTR positive tumor. This review provides a critical and thorough overview of the development of octreotide and their analogues labeled with positron emitting nuclides and the in vivo evaluation of PET radiopharmaceuticals that have emerged so far along with their possible applications in nuclear medicine. In general, the content of 226Ra in a sample is deduced from results of 222Rn progeny in HPGeγspectral analysis. Because the sample should be sealed for several weeks before the measurement, we can not get the results quickly through this method. The paper analyzes the source of the counts of the full-energy peak in 186 keV in the full-energy peak, and modifies the result of 226Ra content calculated by using the full-energy peak in 186 keV. Somatostatin analogues can specificially bind with somatostatin receptor (SSTR) which is usually over-expressed on many tumor cells. So it may have important significance to use 18F labeled somatostatin analogues as the tumor probes for the diagnosis, the clinical staging and evaluation of therapeutic effect of SSTR positive tumor. In order to explore a novel PET probe for diagnosis of SSTR positive tumors, the c-Gluc-Lys([Fe18F]NOTA)-TOCA was radio-synthesized fast and efficiently using the chelation reaction with Fe18F complex and c-Gluc-Lys(NOTA)-TOCA which was a glycosylated somatostatin analogues combined with 1, 4, 7-triazacyclononane-1, 4, 7-triacetic acid (NOTA). The labeling efficiency of c-Gluc-Lys([Fe18F]NOTA)-TOCA is 40% and the total synthesis time is 25-30 min. The radiochemical purity is over 95% after HLB column purification. The hydrophily of the probe is high (lg P=-4.18±0.15), the stability in vitro is poor. Biodistribution studies in normal mice show that c-Gluc-Lys([Fe18F]NOTA)-TOCA is excluded by kidneys, the uptake in liver is low, the uptake in SSTR expressed pancreas is high, the background of blood and muscle are low, the uptake in bone is high. These preliminary results provide some experimental basis for further study of 18F metal complex labeled somatostatin analogues as the tumor probes for the diagnosis of SSTR-positive tumor. Source

So 18F labeled octreotide and their derivatives can be used for the diagnosis and evaluation of therapeutic efficacy of SSTR positive tumors. In order to explore a novel PET probe for diagnosis of SSTR positive tumors, the n-Gluc-Lys([Al 18F]NOTA)-TOCA was radio-synthesized fast and efficiently using the chelation reaction of n-Gluc-Lys(NOTA)-TOCA with Al 18F moiety. n-Gluc-Lys([Al 18F]NOTA)-TOCA was a glycosylated octreotide derivative combined with 1, 4, 7-triazacyclononane-1, 4, 7-triacetic acid(NOTA). The labeling efficiency of n-Gluc-Lys([Al 18F]NOTA)-TOCA is 69% and the total synthesis time is 25-30 min. The radiochemical purity is over 95% after HLB column purification. The stability in vitro is excellent, and the hydrophilicity is high(lg P=-4.20±0.09(n=3)). Biodistribution studies in normal mice at 2 h after injection show that the uptake of n-Gluc-Lys([Al 18F]NOTA)-TOCA in kidney is high((13.83±3.52)%ID/g(n=5)) and the uptake in liver and bone is low. The uptake in samatostatin pancreas receptor express is high, and the background of blood and muscle is low. These preliminary results provide some experimental basis for further study of Al 18F complex labeled octreotide and their analogues as tumor probes for the diagnosis of SSTR-positive tumors. Based on the optimal estimation method, a satellite XCO2 retrieval algorithm was constructed by combining LBLRTM with VLIDORT. One-year GOSAT/TANSO observations over four TCCON stations were tested by our algorithm, and retrieval results were compared with GOSAT L2B products and ground-based FTS measurements. Meanwhile, the influence of CO2 line mixing effect on retrieval was estimated, and the research showed that neglecting CO2 line mixing effect could result in approximately 0.25% XCO2 underestimation. The accuracy of XCO2 retrievals was similar to GOSAT L2B products at cloud-free footprints with aerosol optical depth less than 0.3, and 1% accuracy of XCO2 retrievals can be reached based on the validation result with TCCON measurements. © 2015, Science China Press and Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
