The promotion of Energy Efficiency Standards and the implementation of Energy Labels have greatly improved energy efficiencies of Chinese refrigeration products in recent years. These products are now moving towards multiple heat sources and multiple functions, to obtain further energy-savings. Some typical products, such as solar energy refrigerators and air conditioning-water heater system are introduced. The current energy efficiencies of Chinese refrigeration products are also introduced in this paper. Some recommendations are given to make the standards accommodate these changes. © 2012.

As a new absorption refrigeration system, NaSCN-NH3 diffusion absorption refrigeration system uses a solution of an inorganic salt compound as the absorbent, ammonia as the refrigerant. This paper presents some parameters that affecting on the performance of NaSCN-NH 3 diffusion absorption refrigeration system. By comparing simulation and experimental data, the results show that the COP of NaSCN-NH 3 diffusion absorption refrigeration device set to 2 kW cooling capacity can reach 0.4, when the regeneration temperature is 80°C∼105°C, the concentration is 0.38∼0.5 and condensation temperature is 30°C. ©2010 IEEE.

Referring Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio( SEER) - a method for seasonal performance evaluation of room air conditioners in GB 7725, the Seasonal Temperature Effectiveness was proposed to evaluate thermal seasonal performance of a heat pipe heat recovery unit based on the annual operation data in a shopping mall. And its calculation formula was deduced thereafter. With the case study, it was indicated that seasonal temperature effectiveness of the unit was 66.08% in the winter and 55.43% in the summer, which meant that the system was efficient.

The compared experimental tests were carried out to investigate the operation performances of a solar photovoltaic DC refrigerator using a phase change material (PCM), a photovoltaic DC refrigerator without PCM and a household one. The photovoltaic DC refrigerator using PCM has many advantages for on-off frequency of the compressor, service factor and heat insulation time as compressor stopped, so to prolong the service life of the compressor effectively. Furthermore, the system is powered by solar energy completely without consuming any grid electricity for running, and is the "green household electric appliance" on real significance, that especially suitable for remote mountains and nomadic areas of fresh food and medical supplies of vaccine, etc.

The frequency response of radio wave propagation of special communication channel for high-speed railway in high-speed train coach was calculated according to ray tracing method and tent law. From the calculation, we know that the path loss of radio wave propagation in train coach is greater than 30 dB. The frequency response of radio wave propagation in train coach was measured, and the measured data were processed by Inverse Fast Fourier Transform (IFFT). It's known that the average power delay profile (PDP) of radio wave propagation accords with Saleh-Valenzuela (SV) model under the conditions of line-of-sight (LOS) and non-line-of-sight (NLOS). Power function is more suitable to describe the relationship between RMS delay spread and propagation distance. The measured data were further treated statistically to obtain the key parameters of SV model as well as the small-scale fading model and path loss model of radio wave propagation in train coach. The small-scale fading of radio wave propagation in train coach obeys log-normal distribution under LOS condition and Rayleigh distribution under NLOS condition. The environmental index of radio wave propagation in train coach is 1.283 under LOS condition and 1.098 under NLOS condition.

The two-stage water evaporative cooling system (TSEC) has advantages of lower energy consumption, lower costs, higher environmental friendly and higher cooling efficiency than the direct water evaporative cooling system (DEC) and the indirect water evaporative cooling system (IEC). The experimental and theoretical analysis in this paper results show that the TSEC system not only has favorable application prospect in the dry region of the Northwest of China, but also has abroad application in the medium humidity areas. But it is not applicable in the south with large humidity in summer. ©2010 IEEE.

At present, ducted air-conditioning (AC) unit is characterized of high efficiency, convenient installation, fresh air, less initial investment, etc. It has been widely used in restaurant, supermarket and factory workshop. This paper analyses advantage and disadvantage of the capillary tube, single ported thermostatic expansion valve, double ported thermostatic expansion valve. Especially, modern large-scale buildings make indoor and outdoor unit' placing distance very far, how to ensure reliable running of the system of long tube is important, and proposed a method that making the balanced port thermostatic expansion valve and capillary tube run parallel connection, which ensuring reliable operation of the system of long tube. ©2010 IEEE.

The concept of a generalized local time-frequency variant scattering function (LSF) was introduced in this paper to research the channel characteristics in terrestrial high speed mobile environment. From the LSF, the moving position of vehicles was obtained by observing the variations of the line of sight (LOS) path, as well as some related information about the propagation process and its surroundings. The collinearity of LSF, the stationarity time and the channel dispersion characterization, i.e. the doubly underspread (DU), were estimated and proved by the LSF under rural and urban scenarios with different speed too. Comparing the LSFs, we found that in the same scenarios the larger running velocity, the smaller stationarity time; and the more significant scatterers, the smaller stationarity time with the same speed.
