A method combining field vibration tests and questionnaires to analyze human comfort was proposed. Taking the gymnasium of National Fitness Center in Ejinhoro Banner with long-span floor as an engineering background, detailed vibration tests on the long-span floor were carried out before and after the decoration, and the dynamic parameters of the long-span floor were obtained through these tests. The field vibration tests under a normal working condition (basketball training) was conducted after the decoration, and questionnaires were issued to athletes, coaches and spectators to record their feelings. Taking a basketball game in Beijing Jiaotong University Gymnasium as a similar case, the field vibration tests and questionnaires were also conducted. The results show that, the wood floor decoration layer has a great influence on the vibration magnitude, but has no greater impact on the human comfort. The long-span floor's predominant frequency is about 2~3 Hz, but it can still meet the control requirements of human comfort by suitable designing. The field test data provide a reference to the comfort evaluation for athletes and spectators in stadium. © 2015, Chinese Vibration Engineering Society. All right reserved. Source

According to the premature convergence and low searching efficiency of the standard simulated annealing algorithm in workshop planning applications, this paper proposes a factory planning model of aircraft engine transmission parts based on improved genetic algorithm optimized simulated annealing. First, the mechanism floating-point coding is referenced to arithmetic crossover operation for crossover operator of genetic algorithm, and then adaptive mutation operators are adopted to keep the diversity of population, and the global optimization of the algorithm is improved. Finally, transmission parts factory programming model is constructed according to the characteristic of aviation engine. The results showed that compared with simulated annealing algorithm, the genetic simulated annealing algorithm has good convergence in application to factory planning. © 2015 IEEE. Source

The effects of vibration caused by metro on museum collections lead to their slight fatigue damage. To ensure the safety of collections, here the effects of vibration caused by metro on museum collections were tested and analyzed. This paper based on the date of museum collections in static and fatigue test and the analysis of finite element model. Through analyzing changes in mechanical properties and dynamic effects of museum collections, the results showed that their material static strength range is within 5~ 28 MPa; their fatigue test frequency range is placed from 10 to 20 Hz; under the action of the alternating peak load being 30% of their static strength, they can bear the fatigue vibration for 1000 thousand cycles; when the amplitude of velocity is 1mm/s, within a frequency range of 1 to 80 Hz, the maximum dynamic stress of their models is much smaller than their fatigue strength, their slight fatigue damage do not occur; when the vibration frequency is certain, the amplitude of vibration velocity and their model's maximum dynamic stress increase linearly; to ensure the safety of artifacts, their vibration velocity can be restricted to control their dynamic stresses. © 2015, Chinese Vibration Engineering Society.
