This paper searches for an alternative design method of integrating traditional material craft and computational design. It begins by analyzing Chinese philosophical view of nature, and proposes a natural design built method. The paper demonstrates the idea with two bamboo structure projects. In China, bamboo is closely linked to culture values and traditional craftsmanship. The projects research on the formation logic of bamboo system, and employs computational design method to activate the system formation. Environmental art design refers to the artificial environment that conforms to the will of the human being created by human in the process of adapting and transforming the nature. In view of this, in this paper, the empirical research and analysis of the teaching reform and practice of the model design and production for environmental art design major was carried out. Firstly, the teaching sequence research and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation of students were used to analyze its characteristics, and secondly, the reform teaching was compared with the student environmental art design and production under the traditional teaching, finally, the influencing factors were analyzed. The results show that in the process of teaching reform, the creative inspiration of students is needed to be stimulated, and the model design and creation level should be improved.

Eight sample clothing were designed and made in order to study on bias structure line design. The characteristics of the bias structure lines in clothing pattern making were analyzed and compared with conventional lines. The bias structure lines affected clothing girth and length, and the diagonal angle had direct proportional relationship with dart size. The waist line direction is changed to slant in bias structure line.
