Diagnostics of inflammatory-destructive diseases of the abdominal cavity organs is performed by the determined spectra of luminescence of venous blood plasma. The influence of devascularization of intestines on the intensity of their walls luminescence has been studied also. The intensity of intestine walls luminescence changed with the increase of the time of devascularization. Source

Computer simulation of the behavior of U contours with zero degree of polarization in the combined partially coherent, orthogonally polarized speckle fields is represented. The above mentioned singularities are adequately described in terms of the complex degree of polarization with the Stokes-space representation. Three the most characteristics situation of U contours parametric dynamics in the combined speckle fields are simulated, when combined field is constructed with: speckle field and plane wave, two speckle fields, and the case of speckled speckle. It is shown that in different combinations of combined beam components, U contours remain topologically stable. © 2013 Copyright SPIE. Source

The paper proposes for consideration an alternative method of creating systems for processing and preserving information on the basis of molecular crystals using the phenomenon of optical bistability. Polarization-dependent nonlinear absorption of the benzene type molecular crystals is responsible for the complex dynamics of exciton processes in the analyzed molecular crystal. It is shown that the multilevel signal realized at the outlet is controlled by the outside effecting factors as well as by the inside effecting factors. © 2011 SPIE. Source

Photosensitive n-TiN/p-Si heterojunctions are fabricated by the reactive magnetron sputtering of a thin titanium-nitride film with n-type conductivity onto polished polycrystalline p-Si wafers. The I-V characteristics of the heterostructures are measured at different temperatures. The temperature dependences of the potential-barrier height and series resistance of the n-TiN/p-Si heterojunction are studied. The dominant mechanisms of current transport through the heterojunction in the cases of forward and reverse bias are established. The heterostructures generate the open-circuit voltage V oc = 0.4 V and the short-circuit current I sc = 1.36 mA/cm2 under illumination with a power density of 80 mW/cm2. © 2013 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd. The paper proposes an alternative possibility for using the motion dynamics of tested particles of the Rayleigh light-scattering mechanism for estimating the degree of coherence of mutually orthogonal fields. The velocity of nanoparticles motion in the inhomogeneous optical field is chosen as the measuring parameter for diagnostics. The direct connection between the velocity of nanoscale particle motion and the degree of coherence of interacting fields is analytically demonstrated. Source
