Prediction of drug–target interactions (DTIs) plays an important role in the drug discovery process. Unfortunately, experimental determination of interactions between drug compounds and target proteins remains a challenging task. Current available heterogeneous data motivate us to develop an effective data integration approach to exploit intrinsic correlations of known interactions between drugs and targets and to predict new interactions. We propose an ensemble learning approach to integrate previously developed methods and to improve the prediction performance. In particular, our algorithm employs a stacking framework, which uses a support vector machine (SVM) classifier as the meta learner to achieve better prediction results. © Springer International Publishing Switzerland 2015. With the development of multimedia technology and computer network, the number of available images increases with an explosive speed. But the technology also brings some trouble to its users, sometimes it’s very difficult for us to find some details that very important from a huge amount of available data. At this time, image scene and emotion categorization technologies are required urgently. The purpose of emotional image classification is that we hope the computer can express the emotion reaction when observing the image, and classify the images into the different emotional categories automatically. The process of scene image classification is that how to make computer systems to classify the image sets automatically which contain semantic information, according to the visual perception mechanism of human. Here, for the scene categorization problem based on the visual words, the dissertation presents a novel learning framework to design discriminating semantic visual words. At last, for the emotion categorization of natural scene images, the dissertation presents an emotion categorization using Affective-probabilistic Latent Semantic Analysis model based on the visual cognitive theory. © Yang Zhuo. The samples of luminous fiber with different colors have been prepared by adding the fiber-forming polymer PET chips as base materials and SrAl2O4: Eu2+, Dy3+ luminescent materials. The phase composition, afterglow decay and thermoluminescent characteristics of the fiber were measured by X-ray diffraction (XRD), with an afterglow tester and a thermoluminescent dosimeter. The results indicated that the existence of the polymer matrix lowered the efficiency of excitation and consumed the energy of emission to some extent. Accordingly, the afterglow brightness of the fiber was less than that of pure strontium aluminate phosphors when excited by the same exciting light. Transparent inorganic pigments had little impact on the afterglow decay laws. When the contrast between the hue of the pigment and the colored light of the fiber was closer, the afterglow brightness of the fiber was higher. When the excitation time was longer, the initial afterglow brightness of the fiber was higher. Increasing the excitation time did not prolong the afterglow life effectively. The transparent inorganic pigments affected the luminescent intensity of the thermoluminescent peak. The E values of white, yellow and green luminescent fiber were lower than that of blue and red luminescent fiber relatively, which basically coincided with the results of the afterglow curves. © The Author(s) 2013 Reprints and permissions: sagepub.co.uk/journalsPermissions.nav. In order to further explain the luminous properties of rare-earth luminescent fiber and promote various-product development of the fiber, in this research, rare-earth luminescent fiber was prepared by using rare-earth strontium aluminate as the rare-earth luminescent material, fiber-forming polymer PET as the matrix. The microstructure, composition and properties of rare-earth luminescent fiber were studied systematically based on tests and analysis with luminescent fiber, rare-earth luminescent materials and polyester fiber in detail. The results showed that the crystal structure of SrAl 2O 4: Eu 2+, Dy 3+ distributed in fiber was not destroyed by the polymer matrix and that the complex manufacturing process to ensure luminous properties of fiber performed well. Meanwhile, the structure and properties of luminescent fiber with no distinct changes were similar with that of the polyester fiber. The breaking tenacity and elongation of luminescent fiber in the wet state decreased respectively compared to the dry, and the breaking tenacity of polyester fiber was higher than luminescent fiber. The endothermic melting peak and glass transition temperature of luminescent fiber were slightly higher than that of polyester fiber. Decay curves of samples were successfully fitted by the sum of three exponential components with different decay times. Characteristic decay tended to be longer in luminescent fiber, while the initial luminance intensity of SrAl 2O 4: Eu 2+, Dy 3+ was higher than that of luminescent fiber. © The Author(s) 2012 Reprints and permissions: sagepub.co.uk/journalsPermissions.nav. The transmutation of cheongsam reflects the aesthetic consciousness change of female in our country, the current cheongsams have not only traditional essence but also modern aesthetic feeling. In new period, the application of computer technology is more and more on garment design, which provides superior platform for cheongsam garment design and also seeks ways and methods for innovation and development of cheongsam design in the future. This paper starts by structure design of cheongsam garment, then chose traditional cheongsam, improved cheongsam and modern cheongsam as typical exemplars. Meanwhile, the evolution situation of structure design of cheongsam garment are analyzed based on computer technology, and the evolution course is analyzed. Source
