In view of the effectiveness and importance of viscoelastic material to seismic resistance and wind-resistant of building structure, with nitrile rubber as substrate, based on DMA means, the effect of mixture such as CPP, short carbon fiber, 200 graphite powder, flake graphite, mica powder and et al to the damping performance of NBR is discussed, and the influence of component ratio to the substrate is given. Research results meet two design requirements, firstly, the damping properties of materials was improved, and the loss factor was increased to 1.26, the second, Tg is adjusted from 28.2℃ to 15℃, and the temperature range which tanΔ value is higher than 0.5.The research shows that, just added 200 graphite powder, it achieves the best effect. Two organic hybrid systems respectively consisting of NBR-norsorex (NBR-NSX) and NBR-NSX-A2 oil were prepared as new types of damping material. From DMTA measurements, their dynamic damping mechanical properties were analyzed. The results show that, the damping properties increase with the mixed of appropriate norsorex at special frequency of 1.5 Hz and in certain temperature range (-20~50℃). But as the amount of norsorex continues to increase, the damping properties decrease. As showed the tendency of parabola fluctuation, A2 oil limits the modification functions of norsorex. The Tg of all the conditions moves to higher temperature, which expands the application range in structural engineering. After comprehensive consideration, m(NBR)/m(NSX)(70/30) is the best composition. ©, 2015, Chengdu University of Science and Technology. All right reserved.
