This paper investigates the mapping characteristics of one-dimensional cloud model controller, points out the cloud model controller essentially is a mapping relationship, and the key of the design of one-dimensional cloud model controller is the design of the one-dimensional cloud model mapping processor. A kind of the active principles of the cloud model inference rules is proposed, a one-dimensional cloud model mapping processor is designed, pointed out the mapping the region is bounded and the convergence, finally, a design method of the one-dimensional cloud model mapping processor with P controller features is proposed, a numerical example illustrates the effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2011 IEEE.

Based on Radial Basis Function neural networks, a method of identifying vehicle steering angle is proposed for further investigation of the vehicle handling inverse dynamics. According to the simulation results of a two-degree-freedom closed-loop system and the test of double lane change maneuver, the mapping relationship between vehicle yaw velocity, lateral acceleration and steering angle can be found. The identification results show that the method is not only feasible, but also with high accuracy, little computation requirement and good stability. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

Based on a brief review of the developing history of vehicle handling inverse dynamics. Using radial basis function neural networks, completely considered the cornering force of tyres, the nonlinear mapping relation between lateral angular velocity and steering angle input is found. To study the influence of surface fatigue cracks on the static strength of circular tubular T-joints, experimental tests on four full-scale circular tubular T-joints are carried out. Firstly, surface fatigue cracks are prefabricated by fatigue test in three circular tubular T-joints. Thereafter, experimental tests on the static strength of all the circular tubular T-joints with and without fatigue cracks under axial tension are carried out. Through the comparative analysis, the influences of the fatigue crack on the failure mode and the static strength of circular tubular T-joints are concluded. © Wei and Song; Licensee Bentham Open.

As a kind of organocatalyst, 1-[4-(perfluorooctyl)phenyl]-3-phenylthiourea was employed to the chemoselective oxidation of sulfides in the presence of 30% H 2O 2. A variety of diaryl, dialkyl, alkyl aryl sulfides could be oxidized to sulfoxide under the mild condition. The catalyst could be easily recovered by fluorous solid-phase extraction for reuse. © 2011 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

A commercially available perfluorooctyl aniline and phenyl isothiocyanate were reacted under mild conditions to give 1-[4-(perfluorooctyl)phenyl]-3- phenylthiourea as an analogue of thiourea-based organocatalyst. This fluorous organocatalyst was successfully employed to direct reductive amination of aldehydes. It could be readily separated from reaction product by fluorous solid phase extraction for direct use. © 2010 Elsevier B.V.

An efficient methodology to access benzoate derivatives via tandem benzylic oxidation/oxidative esterification of benzylic alcohols with phenols catalyzed by ruthenium/NHC was developed.
