In fuel cell powered electric vehicles, the net power efficiency is a critical factor in terms of fuel economy and commercialization. Although the fuel cell stack produces enough power to drive the vehicles, the transferred power to the power train could be significantly reduced due to the power consumption to operate the system components of air blower and cooling module. Thus the systematic analysis on the operating condition of the fuel cell stack is essential to predict the net power generation. In this paper numerical simulation is conducted to characterize the fuel cell performance under various operating conditions. Three dimensional and full-scale fuel cell of the active area of 355 cm2 is numerically modelled with 47.3 million grids to capture the complexities of the fluid dynamics, heat transfer and electrochemical reactions. The proposed numerical model requires large computational time and cost, however, it can be powerful to reasonably predict the fuel cell system performance at the early stage of conceptual design without requiring prototypes. Based on the model, it has been shown that the net power is reduced down to 90% of the gross power due to the power consumption of air blower and cooling module. © 2015 Elsevier Ltd. Provided are a culture medium of an adipose-derived stem cell, a method for preparing the same, and a composition for promoting hair growth, in which the composition includes the culture medium. The adipose-derived stem cell (ADSC-T) according to the present invention exhibits long lifespan, improved cell proliferation rate, and extended proliferation period, as compared with a primary adipose-derived stem cell (ADSC), and thus, the adipose-derived stem cell (ADSC-T) can be usefully used for the study about the adipose-derived stem cell and the mass production of the culture medium of the adipose-derived stem cell. In addition, according to the present invention, the culture medium of the adipose-derived stem cell (ADSC-T) that expresses a T antigen of SV40 exhibits excellent hair growth effectiveness and can be usefully used as a raw material for the hair loss prevention and hair growing agents.

The present invention provides a preload control device of a magnetic bearing, which includes a main shaft, a housing, a first magnetic bearing mechanism, a second magnetic bearing mechanism, a pressing mechanism, and a sliding member. The main shaft is rotatably formed in the shape of a rod that is longitudinally long. The housing covers and is fixed outside the main shaft. The first magnetic bearing mechanism is disposed between the housing and the main shaft. The second magnetic bearing mechanism is spaced from the first magnetic bearing mechanism in the axial direction of the main shaft, between the housing and the main shaft. The pressing mechanism is disposed between the second magnetic bearing mechanism and the frusto-conical member. The sliding member is disposed between the pressing mechanism and the second magnetic bearing mechanism.


The present invention relates to an anti-inflammatory, skin-regenerative, whitening, antioxidant, or wound-healing composition containing a culture medium of adipose-derived stem cell-T (ADSC-T) cells as an active ingredient, in which T-antigen is introduced into an adipose-derived stem cell. The culture medium of ADSC-T cells, according to the present invention, has remarkable effects for treating or inhibiting inflammation by alleviating atopic dermatitis, which is an autoimmune disease, and inhibiting NF-B activities through an increase of an Ib expression. Additionally, the culture medium, according to the present invention, exhibits: excellent skin regenerative effects by having effects of enhancing skin collagen elasticity and reducing wounds, in a collagen culture; excellent skin whitening effects by inhibiting tyrosinase activities and melanin production; and excellent anti-oxidation effects by inhibiting DPPH radical activities. Furthermore, the present invention has remarkable wound-healing effects by enhancing cell mobility of fibroblast, and is thus useful for anti-inflammation, skin-regeneration, whitening, anti-oxidation, or healing wounds.
