To build a proper safety efficiency evaluation model for underground six systems, the analytical hierarchy process was applied to establish a multilayered evaluation index mechanism. The scale method was put into application for the comparison and judgment matrix building as well as for the weight calculation of certain elements in a single layer and in the hierarchy as a whole. The evaluation system model was then built by the evidence theory. Experts were invited to grade the subsystems according to the maturity and the contribution to safety production. Grades were taken as the evidence source, and the basic probability assignment functions were obtained when the overall weights of elements in the hierarchy were put into use. The probability assignment functions were in turn fused into one single probability assignment function in line with the traditional fusion rules of the evidence theory. Safety evaluation of six-system components was made available by the fused function, which ultimately gave rise to safety efficiency grade of the underground six systems. This evaluation model was applied in a copper mine. The results show that the overall assessment is satisfactory as the actual situation testified. A multi-layer evaluation index system was established via the analytic hierarchy process for the mine six-system to evaluate the mine six-system effectively. By applying the comparative method and the scale method, the comparative and determining matrix and the weight for all the matrix elements were made. The mathematical fuzzy theory and the evaluated result were then used to respectively figure out determining degree of membership for continuous indexes and discrete indexes. Finally, a general fuzzy evaluation model was built to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the six-system. The application of this method in a production mine shows that construction of the six-system is satisfactory and conforms to the actual situation. ©, 2015, Central South University of Technology. By virtue of discretization of continuous features and attribute reduction algorithm, online monitoring data were integrated for various feature information concerning the main ventilator of metal mine, and the redundant and inconsistent information in the ventilator fault decision table was deleted. The internal relationship among various factors leading to ventilator breakdown was analyzed. Key factors and non-key factors were distinguished from each other for the convenience of fault decision rules. The results show that the rules can be applied for quick and proper decision of main ventilator faults in metal mine. The application in a certain metal mine has produced satisfactory result, achieving intended target. Source
