Let G be a connected graph. The Hyper-Zagreb index of a connected graph G is defined as HM(G) =Σ uvϵEG[dG(u)+dG(v)]2, where dG(v) is the degree of the vertex v in G. In this paper, the Hyper-Zagreb index of the generalized hierarchical, Cartesian, cluster, corona products and four new sums of graphs according to some invariants of the factors are computed, respectively. As applications, we present explicit formulas for the HM index of the linear phenylene Fn, the C4 nanotorus CmCn, the C4 nanotubes Pm□Cn, the l-dimensional hypercubes Ql, the zig-zag polyhex nanotube TUHC6[2n,2], the hexagonal chain Ln, the regular dicentric dendrimer DDp,r and so forth. © Copyright 2016 American Scientific Publishers All rights reserved.

Two isostructural d10 configuration non-centrosymmetric materials: K3ZnB5O10 (KZBO) and K3CdB5O10 (KCBO) can act as efficient and reusable catalysts in the dehalogenation of halophenols. More than 90% of the 2, 4-DXP were degraded within 10 min with the dehalogenation efficiency 2, 4-DBP > 2, 4-DCP > 2, 4-DFP, the dehalogenation efficiency is almost 10 times higher than that of commercial P25 TiO2 catalyst in the present reaction conditions. The internal electric field due to the distorted [MO4] tetrahedral and [BO3] units promote the charge separation in the initial process of photoexcitation and d10 configuration of Zn and Cd with large dispersion is useful for photoexcited electron transfers without recombination, thus enhance the photocatalytic activity. The dehalogenation pathways with KCBO outlined both oxidative and reductive dehalogenation. Our work is expected to offer new insight into photocatalytic theory for better understandings to photocatalytic reactions and rational design and synthesis of photocatalysts with high activity. © 2017

The paper mainly considers the convex programming problem with linear inequality constraints. First, we get the dual problem of the original problem, then according to the relationship between the original problem and the dual problem, namely nonlinear convex programming theory, We get the energy function of solving of the convex programming problem with linear inequality constraints. And then we construct the neural network model for solving this problem, further we proves that each of the optimal solution to solving the problem and its dual problem is the neural networks' solution. And the solution of neural network model is uniformly asymptotically stable. So it Can be seen that the model's structure is simple, the scale is small. © 2016 IEEE.

ZhunDong development zone and the surrounding rich in tourism resources, how to provide visitors with hub single point from the visitors to the scenic spots in the most short paths, at the same time how to give visitors the shortest distance between any two spots is related to the optimization of the tourism industry and tourists to their personal interests, such as time and money. Based on the related data of ZhunDong development zone and the surrounding tourism. We established a network diagram model and solved by using the Dijkstra and matrix algorithm. We obtained the distance between Wucaiwan entirety and various spots, various spots between each other and the tourist scenic spots between the shortest route is designed. Combined with the optimize route and the tourism industry can be configured and cultivated the tourism industry, And then it promote the economic development of development zone and the surrounding areas. © 2016 IEEE.

An exact solution of a single impurity model is hard to derive since it breaks translation invariance symmetry. We present the exact solution of the spin-1/2 transverse Ising chain imbedded by a spin-1 impurity. Using the hole decomposition scheme, we exactly solve the spin-1 impurity in two subspaces which are generated by a conserved hole operator. The impurity enlarges the energy deformation of the ground state above a pure transverse Ising system without impurity. The specific heat coefficient shows a small anomaly at low temperature for finite size. This indicates that the impurity can tune the ground state from a magnetic impurity space to a non-magnetic impurity space, which only exists for spin-1 impurity comparing with spin-1/2 impurity and a pure transverse Ising chain without impurity. These behaviors essentially come from adding impurity freedom, which induces a competition between hole and fermion excitation depending on the coupling strength with its neighbor and the single-ion anisotropy. © 2017 Chinese Physical Society and IOP Publishing Ltd.

The electronic properties of Bi 2MO 6 (M=Mo and W) are studied by using the first-principles calculations. It is attributed to its smaller electron effective mass that Bi 2WO 6 has higher photocatalytic activity than Bi 2MoO 6. The oxygen vacancy in Bi 2MO 6 serves as a trapping center of photogenerated electrons and thus is in favor of the photocatalytic efficiency. Nitrogen-doping induces localized structure distortion and thus improves the separation of photogenerated electron-hole pairs. Moreover, band gaps decrease obviously with doping concentration increasing, therefore the photoabsorption edges will give rise to a redshift in Bi 2MO 6. © 2012 Elsevier Inc. © 2012 Elsevier Inc. 4D MR images have been playing an important role in tumor target definition in treatment planning and tumor motion assessment during radiation therapy. To reduce motion artifacts caused by respiratory motion and further improve image quality, an effective method based on combined linear polynomial fitting and principal component analysis was proposed to remodel displacement vector fields (DVFs) of original 4D-MRI, and the reference image was then deformed using the new DVFs to acquire 4D MR images without or reduced motion artifacts in this study. The distorted regions around the diaphragm and tumor were mitigated and maintained original motion pattern in the synthetic 4D MR images. The consistency of two measurements and the qualitative analysis of results show that the proposed algorithm can improve the image quality of 4D MR images on the basis of keeping original motion pattern, which provids good conditions for precise tumor radiation therapy. © 2016, Editorial Department of Journal of Beijing University of Technology. To understand the photocatalytic activity of Bi2WO6 for water splitting, the electronic structures of N- and Mo-monodoped and N/Mo-codoped Bi2WO6 are investigated based on first-principles calculations. Our results indicate that the band gap of N/Mo-codoped Bi2WO6 reduces by 0.19 eV and the smaller driving force is required for the water-splitting oxidation process. The calculated binding energy of the defect pairs shows that N/Mo-codoping in Bi2WO6 is more feasible than mono-doping, indicating N/Mo-codoped Bi2WO6 is a potential candidate for the photocatalytic water splitting. © 2011 Elsevier B.V. Fenton-like degradation of 4-chlorophenol (4-CP) in aqueous solution was studied over a novel FeIII-containing polyoxometalate (POM) as heterogeneous catalyst. The POM, assigned as FeIIIAspPW12, was synthesized via precipitation reaction of phosphotungstic acid (PW 12) with the complex of ferric ion and aspartic acid (Asp) in aqueous solution. The catalyst displays high activity and good reusability for oxidation of 4-CP by hydrogen peroxide in the range from acidic to circumneutral pH values. The enhanced oxidation of 4-CP was observed when the reaction system was irradiated by a high pressure mercury lamp. Under the conditions of H 2O2 20 mM, FeIIIAspPW12 0.2 g/L, temperature 25 ± 2 °C and pH 6.5, the complete total organic carbon (TOC) removal for 100 mg/L 4-CP solution could be achieved in both dark and irradiation systems within 120 and 60 min, with H2O2 utilization of 77% and 83% respectively. It is speculated that the catalysis may possibly undergo the redox cycles of FeIII ⇌ FeII and POM ⇌ POM- on the surface of FeIIIAspPW 12, accompanied by hydroxyl radical formation from H 2O2, and the oxidation of 4-CP consequently. © 2014 Elsevier B.V.

Electronic structure and optical transition of three d1 metallic oxides SrNbO3, SrVO3, and CaVO3 are theoretically investigated employing conventional density functional theory and partially self-consistent GW calculations. To evaluate the visible light absorption, the matrix elements for direct transitions between band edge states are studied. Our results indicate that among the three inversion symmetry structures electron direct transition in the visible light region can only occur in SrNbO3, which is ascribed to different parity of band edge wave functions due to the mixing of Sr d states with Nb eg states. In addition, the effective mass of photogenerated carriers in SrNbO3 with isotropic characteristic is the smallest, which implies that the photogenerated carriers can transfer to the surface reaction sites more easily with less recombination. Therefore, SrNbO3 should be of better photocatalytic performance. The present work may be beneficial to exploring the series of metallic perovskite photocatalysts. © 2013 American Chemical Society.
