Inter Carrier Interference (ICI) is being introduced in OFDM due to the carrier frequency offset (CFO), which will degrade the system performance and efficiency at higher modulation levels and it decreases the performance of power amplifiers. Hence, here in this paper, we introduced a novel ICI reduction algorithms cancellation under the various channel environments such as AWGN, Rayleigh and also Rician. Simulation results have been compared with existing and proposed schemes under these channel specifications and concluded that the Rayleigh has performed far better than the AWGN and Rician channel distributions in terms of Bit Error Rate (BER) and Carrier interference Ration (CIR) performance. In this paper, an Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Interference System (ANFIS) is proposed for eliminating voltage harmonics present in the multilevel inverter. It is achieved by reducing the THD present in the multilevel inverter output voltage. Here, the voltage variation of the multilevel inverter is determined from the actual load voltage and the reference voltage. The voltage variation at different time interval has been applied to the ANFIS. According to the voltage variations, the switching angles can be generated from the interference system. These switching angles can make the multilevel inverter output voltage with reduced THD. The proposed technique is implemented in the MATLAB/simulink working platform. The effectiveness of the proposed method is evaluated by the multilevel inverter output voltage without controller and with Neuro Fuzzy Controller (NFC). © 2014 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.

Imag compression helps in fast data transfer and effective memory utilization. The objective of image compression is to reduce data redundancy of the image while retaining high image quality. This paper describes an approach for wavelet based image compression using Multi Layer Feed Forward Neural Network with Error Back Propagation training algorithm applied to second and third level approximation component and modified Run Length Coding is applied to second and third level Horizontal and vertical components and threshold is used to discard insignificant coefficients. The experimental results on several images indicate that the proposed algorithm is superior to the existing algorithm in terms of Compression Ratio (CR) by 30% to 40% with different wavelets. The performance of the proposed algorithm is also compared with different discrete wavelet transform (DWT) techniques.

The ultrasonic velocity (U), density (ρ) and viscosity (η) measurements have been carried out for the binary mixtures of acetyl acetone with benzene, carbon tetra chloride and isoamyl alcohol at 301 K. From the measured values of ultrasonic velocity, density and viscosity, parameters such as internal pressure (πi), free volume (Vf) and acoustical parameters such as adiabatic compressibility (β), inter molecular free length (Lf), acoustic impedance (Z), relaxation time (τ) have been calculated. The results have been analyzed and interpreted in terms of molecular interactions.

Theoretical values of ultrasonic velocity in the binary mixtures of chlorobenzene with benzene have been evaluated at different temperatures from 303.15 K-323.15 K using Nomoto's relation, ideal mixture relation, Junjie's method, collision factor theory and free length theory. Theoretical values were compared with the experimental values and the validity of the theories was checked by applying the chi-square test for goodness of fit and by calculating the average percentage error (APE).
