This paper describes an interface capable of high data rate transmission for Chip-On-Glass (COG) TFT-LCD applications. To compensate for severe channel loss and reflection, automatic calibration of both equalization and internal timing is employed. The proposed interface has been verified on a 15-inch 3Kx2K COG TFT-LCD panel with a data rate of 2.0Gbps. © 2014 Society for Information Display.
