The article gives the results of sulphidation oxidized copper ores and tailings with sulfur. Defined by the apparent activation energy in the conditions of heating the mixture of substances interacting with a constant speed by differential thermogravimetry (DTG). It was established that the sulfiding may occur in a kinetic mode, since the interaction is charged, in the presence of liquid and gaseous sulfur, i.e. transport of sulfur to the surface of the mineral is not a limiting process. © 2016, Faculty of Metallurgy. In this paper the relaxation properties of non-isothermal dense plasmas were studied. Based on the effective interaction potentials between particles, the Coulomb logarithm for two-temperature non-isothermal dense plasmas was obtained. These potentials take into consideration long-range multi-particle screening effects and short-range quantum-mechanical effects in two-temperature plasmas. The relaxation processes in such plasmas were studied using the Coulomb logarithm. The obtained results were compared with theoretical works of other authors and with the results of molecular dynamics simulation. © 2015 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.

In the article, they suggest a new algorithm which is an alternative to the sweep method for numerical solution of second-order linear differential equations with mixed boundary conditions. This algorithm has a wider field of application than the well-known sweep method, and it works both with positive and negative coefficients. Besides, the authors show the consistency and computational stability of difference schemes represented by suggested recurrence formulas. The results of this article are confirmed by computation data.

Mankind has since ancient times, creating a condition for a good life, unwittingly participated in the study of nature. But not all were seen opening and for a long time were in the dark, or simply destroyed along with the inventor. Inventor of the steamboat Fulton brought his idea to Napoleon, to him first, but Napoleon, for all his genius, did not appreciate this invention, this discovery. And a lot of such examples. So it was with Galileo, Giordano Bruno, Alfred Wegener, etc. So now, any scientific field is dependent on any official of any state, and the results are moving away indefinitely. Funds are distributed by various funds at the discretion of those same officials. But how to choose the right idea or not, nobody can. The idea is not turning into a matter, a bad idea. Examples of the ideas of mankind had experienced - fascism, communism, atomic weapons, turn the rivers, the overlap of Kara-Bogaz-Gol, the Aral Sea, etc. But ignorance of the laws of nature does not absolve humanity from liability, which is manifested by various natural disasters - earthquakes, floods, fires, tsunamis, climate change and etc. Mankind has not saw through the device of the planet on which it resides. The most terrible for the planet is the human consumption of energy sources, which it uses for its well being, but at the same time, people did not understand the origin of this energy - oil, gas and water (reservoir fluids).

Recovery of valuable metals as osmium and rhenium from a industrial wastes are an actual problem. A wastes of copper production treat slime and cake. The content of rhenium in them makes 600 - 2 000 g/t, osmium to 50 g/t. In article results of research of a form of finding of osmium and rhenium in such waste and influence phase transformation of the main components on their extraction when processing are stated. The probable reactions, proceeding in this system are provided. The way of receiving enriched with osmium and rhenium of concentrates from a waste is offered.

The ecological system of the Caspian Sea, where both Kazakhstan and foreign companies are extracting hydrocarbon crude, is currently in a pre-crisis state, and there is a real risk of its further deterioration due to constant intervention, including the planned development of shallow waters in the north-eastern part of the Caspian Sea. Kazakh part of the Caspian Sea requires state regulation in the field of environmental monitoring. This needs the application of systematic approach to environmental issues, which involves community health and environmental surveillance system, recording of obtained data, forecasting, and ability to actively influence the situation. The application of databases, created to collect information, as well as monitoring the current situation allows one to identify pollution focuses with sufficient accuracy and develop the adequate control monitoring in order to provide prompt response.
