In this paper, three different operational biases-A (accuracy emphasis), N (neutral) and F (speed emphasis) are investigated in the circular steering task for both younger and older user groups when interacting with computer interface. Experimental results show that operational biases have significant effect on human performance for both younger and older groups. The controllable range is wider for younger users than that for older users in terms of MT. User group only has significant effect on SD (Standard Deviation), but also significant effect on MT in bias-A condition. Older user group produces more SD than younger users do in all the three speed or accuracy emphasis. The fitness of a complement model of steering law for older user group is also verified in this paper. Finally, several implications for user interface design have been presented. © 2016 IEEE.

This paper studies the low Mach number limit of the full compressible Navier-Stokes equations in a three-dimensional bounded domain where the velocity field and the temperature satisfy the slip boundary conditions and the Neumann boundary condition, respectively. The uniform estimates in the Mach number for the strong solutions are derived in a short time interval, provided that the initial density and temperature are close to the constant states and satisfy the "bounded derivative conditions". Thus the solutions of the full compressible Navier-Stokes equations converge to the one of the isentropic incompressible Navier-Stokes equations, as the Mach number vanishes. © 2014 .

An image filtering algorithm based on improved Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) -Random Inertia Weight (RIW) algorithm is proposed in this work. Image denoising is an important task in computer vision and image processing, as images acquired through image sensors are usually contaminated by noise. Image denoising algorithms can be directly used for image restoration and other higher-level tasks as a pre-processing step. The main goal of image denoising is to suppress noise images while preserving their features, such as meaningful edges or texture details, as much as possible. PSO algorithms have gained increasing interest for dealing with continuous optimization problems in recent years. PSO algorithm is an optimization tool based on population, which starts from random solution, finds an optimal value via iteration and has the characteristics of simplicity, efficiency, high precision and quick convergence. This paper proposes to adopt a improved PSO-RIW method to seek the optimal parameter of a fuzzy membership function, then perform fuzzy median filtering on the noise image and recover the gray value of the noise stained pixel point. Experimental results show the proposed algorithm gets better PSNR than other methods mentioned, observably. In terms of visual quality, the proposed algorithm can get the images with more details, smooth profiles and aliasing is restricted. © 2012 Praise Worthy Prize S.r.l.

Halogen free fire-retardant silicon rubber compounds for cable covering materials were prepared, using Magnesium hydroxide (MH), microencapsulated red phosphorous (MRP) as a synergist agent. Tensile Test was used to testify the mechanical properties. Limiting oxygen index (LOI) and UL 94 test were used to characterize the flammability of the developed formulations. Finite element method disperses continuous substance into a batch of elements, and this can transform the problem of infinity freedom degree into the problem of finite freedom degree, and then solves it by computers. It is a powerful numerical analysis method in solving engineering problems. Before analysis using finite element method, the model to be calculated must be meshed. So, the research and implementation of algorithms for finite element mesh generation is quite important. To the problem of two-dimensional models, the existing methods of finite element mesh generation have achieved much success and on the whole fulfil the requirement of actual engineering. However, to the problem of three-dimensional models, mesh generation methods only have received a little bit of effect, so they must be researched and developed farther. Finite element analysis consists of computer design model that is stressed and analyzed for specific results. This paper proposes computer graphic exhibition design using finite element analysis. It constructs finite element model, then it uses ANSYS software to simulate the process of graphic exhibition, simulate result shows that the proposed finite element model is effective, sets up the regular finite elements in the premise of visual effects and precision, improves the real time application and practicability of the model.

In this paper, we discuss the portfolio optimization problem with real-world constraints under the assumption that the returns of risky assets are fuzzy numbers. A new possibilistic mean-semiabsolute deviation model is proposed, in which transaction costs, cardinality and quantity constraints are considered. Due to such constraints the proposed model becomes a mixed integer nonlinear programming problem and traditional optimization methods fail to find the optimal solution efficiently. Thus, a modified artificial bee colony (MABC) algorithm is developed to solve the corresponding optimization problem. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed model and the corresponding algorithm. © 2015 Elsevier B.V.All rights reserved.

Third-party reverse logistics (3PRL) has created new and innovative opportunities for academic researchers and business communities to explore the strategic, economic, environmental, and regulatory implications of recycled, remanufactured, and disposed products. This paper first considered and analyzed the relevant literature in 3PRL and identified the present state of theory in selecting 3PL; secondly this paper introduces a model for dealing with selecting third-party reverse logistics (3PRL) providers in the presence, the proposed model is based on analytical hierarchy process (AHP); finally a numerical example demonstrates the application of the proposed method. © 2012 IEEE.
