Ninety-seven taxa of coprophilous fungi are recorded from the Southern Atlantic archipelago of the Falkland Islands. Several other fungi are discussed in the light of the distribution of these coprophils. Fungi are recorded for the first time from some of the smaller islands adjacent to East and West Falkland. Two new combinations, Coprinopsis cordispora (T.Gibbs) Watling & M.J.Richardson and Coprinopsis ephemeroides (DC.) Watling & M.J.Richardson, are made. With the aim of clarifying the number of Pisolithus species in Macedonia, molecular analysis was carried out on seven specimens collected in oak forests in Macedonia during 1987 and 2005. New sequences were compared with previously published sequences included in public databases. Three Pisolithus species are identified in Macedonia: P. arhizus, P. capsulifer, and P. Tinctorius. © 2015. Mycotaxon, Ltd. Source

Two cantharelloid fungi are recorded and described from Nan and Kanchanaburi Provinces, Thailand. Cantharellus atratus, a new record for Thailand, is recombined in Craterellus based on molecular studies. Although previously known from Peninsular Malaysia, Pterygellus polymorphus var. minor represents a new record for Thailand. © 2012. Mycotaxon, Ltd. Source
