According to research achievement of mineral exploration in depth of Xiaoqinling golddeposit region and prospecting practice for Chen'er gold ore deposit, it concluded that Xiaoqinling gold deposit region is another super-large ore cluster region, which have superior exploration condition and potential in depth. It has large favorable districts for exploration located in depth or surrounding of known deposits. Some exploration targets should be paid attention to such as extending, lateral currence, and wedge out of main orebody. There is possiblity to find structure altered rock type gold deposit in depth of quartz vein type gold deposit. On the base of strengthening geology synthetical study and understanding metallogenic regularity, the effective methods for exploration in depth includes geology, geophysics, and geochemistry comprehensive new techniques, and so on. It can forecast deep enriched section of orebody by using the geochemical axis zoned model, and prove by drill project in hole. Source

The gold exists mostly in supergenic media including underground water, surface water, and stream sediments by six facies, such as soluble facies, surface adsorbing facies, organic facies, natural gold facies, iron and manganese oxides facies, and sulfide facies. The gold displays more siderophility, but has sulphophility under supergenic environment. In the process of practically evaluating supergenic anomaly, it should deeply analyze geological and geophysical landscape environment, and determine supergenic geochemical feature of anomalous elements by studying supergenic environment indexes (pH, Eh, Ec, temperature, rainfall, and so on) in anomaly location, and research anomaly-forming mechanism in order to systematically particularly evaluate anomaly on the basis of compositing geological factors. In fact, on the basis of understanding the law of gold supergenic transportation and enrichment, it can reach good anomaly evaluating exploration effect by using anomaly proving → elements facies analyzing → anomaly judgement and ordering → checking and estimating → validating work procedure during concretely evaluating gold supergenic anomaly, and illustrate by case in Huangjiawan region. The geological and geochemical characteristics research of Yangpingwan gold deposit indicate that it belongs to sedimentary-reformed deposit discovered in black rock series of southern Shaanxi Province. The metallogensis of this deposit undergoes three major stages, namely sedimentary and diagenesis, formation and metamorphism, reformation and emplacement. The gold deposit can be explored in stratigraphy of carbon-bearing two-mica quartz schist in Silurian Meiziya Formation, tectonic development settings such as ductile shear belt and tight fold, hydrothermal alteration such as pyritization and silicification, developing vein bodies such as quartz veinlet and albitite vein. There are geochemical anomalies such as Au anomaly, As anomaly, and low IP anomaly, which will be displayed by intermittent linear remote sensing image. Source
