Ultrasonic Velocity and density measurements of ligand, 3-(Chloroaryl)-5-aryl-1-substituted Pyrazolines were carried out at different percentage of dioxane solvents. for investigating solute-solvent, solute-solute interaction at different temperature 293K , 297K and 300 K . The data obtained during the study is used for determing most significant acoustic parameters like Velocity (v), Density (d), relative association (RA),intermolecular free length (Lf), specific acoustic impedance (z). The parameters explore solute–solute and solute– solvent interactions in different solvents. In this investigation, the comparative study of effect of solvents and effect of substituents in the solute are studied on molecular interaction of the matter. © 2015, Sphinx Knowledge House. The 2-Hydroxy-5-chloroacetophenone (IIIa) was prepared by Fries migration of p-chlorophenol acetate (IIa) in presence of AlCl3, The 2-hydroxy-3-bromo-5-chloroacetophenone (IIIb) was prepared by the bromination of acetophenone (IIIa) with bromine in acetic acid, and 2-hydroxy-3-nitro-5-chloroacetophenone was prepared by the nitration of acetophenone (IIIa) with nitrating mixture, then Acetophenone (IIIa-b) on condensation with aldehydes (benzaldehyde and chlorobenzaldehyde) gave corresponding chalcones. and finally,The pyrazolines (Va-Vf) were synthesized by reacting chalcones with thiosemicarbazide in ethanol.The ligand structure were elucidated on the basis of molecular weight,elemental analysis and their spectral data.

Densities and ultrasonic velocities of substituted chalcone dibromides using 0.01 M concentration have been measured in ethanol at 303K. different acoustic properties like apparent molal volume, apparent molal compressibility, intermolecular free length, acoustic impedence have been determined. These properties were studied to solute-solute and solute-solvent interaction in solvent, which provide important and versatile information regarding internal structure, molecular association, complex formation and stability of complexes.

The chloro , nitro and methyl substituted benzaldehyde condensed with aniline and nitro aniline in ethanol medium in presence of conc.H2SO4 isolate schiff's bases. The structures of these compounds have been characterized by spectral analysis (NMR & IR). These compounds were tested for antimicrobial activity against bacteria such as E.coli, S.typhi, S.aureus, P.vulgaris and P.paratyphi are found to have remarkable activity.

In last four decades ultrasonic velocity and density measurement studies created its own importance in medicinal, pharmaceutical, anatomical, biochemical and chemical sciences1-4. As solute-solvent, solute-solute, solvent-solvent, solute, solvent and metal ion interactions were studied by this techniques, the drug effects, drug actions and drug activity as well as drug absorption were studied by this technique. Hence, taking all these things into consideration, an ultrasonic velocity and density measurements of ligand 2-hydroxy-5-chloro-1-(α-o-methylphenylimino)ethyl benzene (L1), 2-hydroxy-3-bromo-5-chloro-1-(α-o-methylphenylimino)ethyl benzene (L 2), 2-hydroxy-5-chloro-1-(α-p-nitrophenylimino)ethyl benzene (L3) and 2-hydroxy-5-chloro-1-(α-p-chlorophenylimino)ethyl benzene (L4) were carried out in ethanol and dioxane solvents. To investigate solute-solvent, solute-solute interactions at 307.15 K. Adiabatic compressibility (β), apparent molar compressibility (φk), intermuscular free length (Lf), relative association (RA), specific acoustic impedance (Z), apparent molar volume (φv) were determined. The effects of various substituents on ligands and solvents on interactions were investigated for drug activity, action and effect of Schiff bases..
