By full use of prominent features of the pressure derivative being more sensitive than the pressure itself, through statistical analysis for the start time of the transition section and the radial flow section of the double logarithmic curve of pressure and its derivative and by utilizing the main stage features of them, combining with reservoir static and dynamic parameters closely, the right conclusions are made, principles and conditions of selecting fractured layer to low permeability reservoir are proposed. The Well Bin 29 × 1 is an exploration well, located in Dagang oil field, with a vertical depth of 4, 063 m. The bottom hole temperature is 132 °C while being static and 112 °C while circulating. Some difficulties were encountered as the severe after effect with the maximum channeling velocity 130 m/h and the whole hydrocarbon value 100%, and basalt formation was found at the bottom hole. To deal with these difficulties, emulsion triple-curing cement slurry, weighted thick spacer fluid and compound displacing technology were used in this well and the percent of high quality was 70%. For the high clay content and gypsum, hydration and swelling of formation is hard to be inhibited in Block Haian located in Zhejiang oilfield. Based on the analysis of the formations characteristics, the high inhibitive polysulfonate silicated fluorine film forming drilling fluid is developed to solve the down hole troubles, and the capabilities of anti-clay and salt-resisting have been enhanced, drilling difficulties including bit balling, reaming and sticking in the past have been overcome as well. Field application in 13 wells was very successful. Source
