A method, system, and computer program product for executing an achievement-based workflow tool to perform a quality control check of a product are provided. The quality control check includes assigning to each asset of the product an achievement from an achievement type list to produce assigned achievements and executing a set of tests associated with each achievement assigned to each asset of the product. Further, the quality control check includes creating a certificate detailing results of each set of tests and comparing the certificate against the achievement type list to determine which of the assigned achievements been earned by the product.

An apparatus for slicing food products includes a housing including an inlet, for receiving food products to be sliced and an outlet for discharging the sliced food product. A primary shaft is supported in the housing for rotation about a primary axis. The primary shaft carries a plurality of slicing blades that are rotatable with the primary shaft about the primary axis. A secondary shaft is supported in the housing for rotation about a secondary axis. The secondary shaft carries a plurality of slicing blades that are rotatable with the secondary shaft about the secondary axis. The primary and secondary shafts are positioned in the housing in a spaced and parallel manner so that the slicing blades are arranged in slicing pairs. Each slicing pair includes one slicing blade on the primary shaft and one slicing blade on the secondary shaft. The slicing blades in each slicing pair have peripheral portions that overlap each other. The apparatus further includes at least one biasing member for biasing the overlapping peripheral portions of the slicing blades of each slicing pair against each other.

The at least one pad (50) includes a substrate (60) and at least one flame resistant polymer rib (62) disposed on the substrate. One method of treating incinerated waste comprises: size separating at least some of the incinerated waste into a first undersize fraction comprising particles smaller than the first separation size and into a first oversize fraction comprising particles larger than the first separation size; size reducing at least some of the first oversize fraction; size separating at least some of the size-reduced first oversize fraction into a second undersize fraction comprising particles smaller than the second separation size and into a second oversize fraction comprising particles larger than the second separation size; combining at least some of the first undersize fraction and at least some of the second undersize fraction into a fine fraction; and extracting metal from at least some of the fine fraction. Another method of treating incinerated waste comprises extracting metal by froth flotation from at least some of the incinerated waste. Systems are also disclosed.

The present invention pertains to the selection of cathode materials. The cathode materials of concern are the conducting polymer or backbone and the redox active species or sulfur species. The selection of the materials is based on the characteristics of the materials relating to the other components of the batteries and to each other. The present invention also pertains to the resultant cathode materials, particularly a selected cathode material of a single component sulfur-based conducting polymer with the sulfur species covalently linked to the conducting polymer, and most particularly a thiophene based polymer with covalently linked sulfur species. The conducting polymers have been covalently-derivatized with sulfides and/or sulfide-containing groups as battery cathode materials. The present invention also pertains to a battery employing the selection method and resultant cathode materials.

A wound treatment appliance is provided for treating all or a portion of a wound. In some embodiments, the appliance comprises an impermeable flexible overlay that covers all or a portion of the wound for purposes of applying a reduced pressure to the covered portion of the wound. In other embodiments, the impermeable flexible overlay comprises suction assistance means, such as channels, which assist in the application of reduced pressure to the area of the wound and removal of exudate from the wound. In other embodiments, the wound treatment appliance also includes a vacuum system to supply reduced pressure to the wound in the area under the flexible overlay. In yet other embodiments, the wound treatment appliance also includes wound packing means to prevent overgrowth of the wound or to encourage growth of the wound tissue into an absorbable matrix comprising the wound packing means. In still other embodiments, the appliance may include a suction drain. In other embodiments, the appliance may include a collection chamber to collect and store exudate from the wound. In yet other embodiments, a suction bulb may be used to provide a source of reduced pressure to an impermeable overlay that covers all or a portion of the wound. Finally, methods are provided for using various embodiments of the wound treatment appliance.

A hull mounted, steerable marine drive system having trim actuation is both steerable through 360 degrees and is trimmable in a range of from approximately +3 degrees to approximately 15 degrees. The marine drive system includes a watertight enclosure assembly for sealing the hull, which is adapted for keeping much of the marine drive system from being exposed to water. The enclosure includes a gasket flange plate, a retention plate and a folded gasket. The gasket flange plate closely follows the contour of the hull and enhances the hydrodynamic and wake performance of the present marine drive system.
