It is also home to literary critic Hakuchō Masamune's birthplace, which is now a museum. The city was founded on April 1, 1971.As of 2003, the city had an estimated population of 28,030 and a population density of 209.71 persons per km². The total area was 133.66 km².On March 22, 2005, the towns of Hinase and Yoshinaga were merged into Bizen. As of this merger, the total area became 258.23 km², and the population was 41,954. A head rest is provided that can secure backward view when it is not used, and enable adjustment of its front-and-rear position in use. A head rest is rotatable from a rearmost position to a stored position in which the head rest is tilted down forward. When the head rest is in a use range from the rearmost position to a forward adjustment limit position located in front, the tilting angle of the head rest is adjustable with in-use tilting-angle adjustment means, and the head rest can be rotated forward to the stored position and rotated backward to the rearmost position with unlock means. By contrast, when the head rest is in the stored position, forward rotation and backward rotation of the head rest are regulated with storage backward rotation regulating means, and the head rest can be rotated backward to the rearmost position with unlock means.

It is preferred that the unsaturated fatty acid is an unsaturated fatty acid having 16 to 24 carbon atoms. It is preferred that the unsaturated fatty acid is selected from the group consisting of linoleic acid, linolenic acid, arachidonic acid, stearidonic acid, icosatetraenoic acid, icosapentaenoic acid, tetracosahexaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid. According to the method of the present invention, a carbon chain extension reaction can be completed within a shorter time.


The present invention relates to the field of methods for purifying fatty acid ethyl esters. According to the present invention, a method for obtaining a 3 fatty acid ethyl ester, such as EPA and DHA, each as a high purity product at a high yield is provided. In the method according to the present invention, a raw material fat including EPA and DHA is treated with a lipolytic enzyme and ethyl-esterification is performed as needed; the treated substance is fractionated into a glyceride fraction and a free fatty acid fraction; a fraction comprising more EPAester and a fraction comprising DHA ester are obtained from the respective fractions; the fraction comprising more EPA ester is purified to prepare a high-purity EPA ester; and the fraction comprising more DHA ester is purified to prepare a high-purity DHA ester.
