Fuzzy control theory is widely applied to the field of automatic electro-hydraulic control for such theory is independent of object-based accurate model and is capable of providing effective control on nonlinear time-varying complex control system. However, improvement shall be made in relation to intelligence degree, adaptability and control accuracy stabilization. In this Thesis, it is proposed that the idea of optimum control should be introduced into intelligent fuzzy control system in the process of fuzzy reasoning, and such proposal is based on advantages of intelligent fuzzy control in connection with automatic electro-hydraulic control system as well as based on fuzzy reasoning mechanism. Namely, a new fuzzy reasoning scheme is to be established by combining fuzzy control reasoning and optimal control theory in order to improve its sensitivity to change of object parameters. By simulating the system with adoption of Matlab, it is shown that, compared with regular fuzzy control scheme, the proposed optimal fuzzy control theory can realize faster response to control system and more accurate position tracking and is featured by its short response time for change in system parameter as well as high control accuracy. A complex luminous pattern showing square superlattice pattern (SSP) appearance on the edge and dot-line square superlattice pattern (DLSSP) appearance in the middle, which is called coexistence of SSP and DLSSP (CSSP), is observed in a dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) system. The spatio-temporal structure of CSSP obtained by using an intensified-charge coupled device (ICCD) indicates that CSSP is an interleaving of three kinds of square subpatterns in one half voltage, which is similar to that of SSP and DLSSP. Based on the activation-inhibition mechanism of surface charges, the influence of surface charges of prior discharge to the pattern formation is discussed by comparing the discharge characteristics of CSSP with those of SSP and DLSSP. The amount of surface charges corresponding to the prior discharges for SSP, DLSSP and CSSP is calculated respectively by using the time integration of the total current pulse to verify the above theoretical explanation. © 2017 Elsevier GmbH

Pursuit of technological implementation with enhanced photoelectric conversion efficiency and power generation ability in the dark is a persistent objective for dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). We launch here three strategies of designing graphene tailored polymer gel electrolytes (PGEs) with an electron-conducting feature, aiming at reserving I−/I3 − redox couples into three-dimensional (3D) PGE framework, reducing I3 − species within the PGE and shortening the diffusion length of redox couples. The 3D PGE provides framework for I−/I3 − diffusion like in a liquid system, whereas graphene experiences to form interconnected channels along polyelectrolyte backbones. The results demonstrate that a power conversion efficiency of 9.1% is yielded on the resultant quasi-solid-state DSSCs by optimizing synthesis strategies. © 2017

In this paper, using Gronwall's inequality, we investigate some delay integral inequalities on time scales, which provide explicit bounds on unknown functions. Our results unify and extend some delay integral inequalities and their corresponding discrete analogues. The inequalities given here can be used as tools in the qualitative theory of certain classes of delay dynamic equations on time scales. © 2009 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

In this paper, the Painlevé analysis is performed on the physical form of the third-order Burgers’ equation, the Painlevé property and integrability (C-integrable) of the equation is verified. Then, the generalized symmetries of the equation are presented and the generalized symmetries of the other equation are given by the symmetry transformation method. The Bäcklund Transformations of the equations are constructed based on the symmetries, respectively. Furthermore, the exact explicit solutions to the equations are investigated in terms of the symmetries, Bäcklund transformations and transformations of the equations. © 2014, Springer Science+Business Media New York.

Recently, low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid has been reported to have novel features, such as free radical scavenging activities, antioxidant activities, promotion of excisional wound healing, etc. In the present work, degradation of native hyaluronic acid by ozone treatment was performed for preparation of low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid. The molecular weight of native hyaluronic acid was reduced from 1535 to 87 kDa for 120 min at 40 °C. The rate of reduction of molecular weight was 94.33%. The FT-IR, 13C NMR, and UV-vis spectra suggested that there was no obvious modification of chemical structure of low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid. The use of degradation of native hyaluronic acid by ozone treatment can be a useful alternative for production of low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid. © 2012 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

This paper investigates the stability problem for the nominal and uncertain Lurie control system with multiple delays, respectively. With the delay divided into two segments, a novel Lyapunov functional is introduced and some new delay-dependent stability criteria are derived by employing integral-equality technique. It is theoretically proved that the obtained criteria are less conservative than some existing ones. In this paper, effect of oxygen and pH on the browning of chitosan exposed to gamma radiation was investigated. It was found that oxygen and pH value could play important roles in the inhibiting browning of irradiated chitosan. When the pH value of chitosan solution was below 3.0, sufficient oxygen could inhibit browning of irradiated chitosan in aqueous solution. As a result of irradiation of chitosan solution (pH < 3) with sufficient oxygen, the irradiated chitosan solutions obtained were colorless and pellucid. FT-IR, 13C NMR, and UV-vis spectra confirmed that the irradiation in the presence of oxygen cannot result in chemical modification of irradiated chitosan. An effective technology was developed for the inhibition of browning of irradiated chitosan during depolymerization of chitosan by gamma irradiation. © 2013 Elsevier Ltd.
