By using numerical simulation technology, mathematical model experimental study was rendered about regenerative combustion transformation program of ladle roaster in Benxi Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. The results show that the regenerative combustion transformation of ladle roaster is more efficient energy saving and environmental protection than traditional tube-style baking equipment. It's a feasible technical program.

Lightweight wheels can reduce weight about 100kg for commercial vehicles, and it can save energy and reduce emission, what's more, it can enhance the profits for logistics companies. The development of lightweight commercial vehicle wheels is achieved by the development of new steel for rim, the process optimization of flash butt welding, and structure optimization by finite element methods. Niobium micro-alloying technology can improve hole expansion rate, weldability and fatigue performance of wheel steel, and based on Niobium micro-alloying technology, a special wheel steel has been studied whose microstructure are Ferrite and Bainite, with high formability and high fatigue performance, and stable mechanical properties. The content of Nb in this new steel is 0.025% and the hole expansion rate is ≥ 100%. At the same time, welding parameters including electric upsetting time, upset allowance, upsetting pressure and flash allowance are optimized, and by CAE analysis, an optimized structure has been attained. As a results, the weight of 22.5in×8.25in wheel is up to 31.5kg, which is most lightweight comparing the same size wheels. And its functions including bending fatigue performance and radial fatigue performance meet the application requirements of truck makers and logistics companies.

This paper considers the problem of non-fragile H ∞ filtering for fuzzy discrete-time systems with the consideration of the additive gain variations, which reflects the FWL effects in filter implementation. The introduction of the fuzzy property results in a more complex numerical computation problem. A notion of structured vertex separator is employed to approach the problem, and exploited to develop sufficient conditions for the non-fragile H ∞ filter design in terms of solutions to a set of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs). The design renders the augmented system asymptotically stable and guarantees the H ∞ attenuation level less than a prescribed level. A numerical example shows the effectivness of the proposed method.

The texture evolution of ferritic hot rolled Ti-IF steel during cold rolling was investigated in which the reduction was from 15% to 85%. It was found that α fibre texture was monotonously intensified with the increase in the cold rolling reduction, while γ fibre texture changed in a different way. When the cold rolling reduction was in the range of 15%-35% or 45%-75%, γ fibre texture was strengthened; however, when the cold rolling reduction was 35%-45% or 75%-85%, the intensity of γ fibre was reduced. The γ fibre displayed a maximum intensity for the reduction of 75%, and the highest average plastic strain ratio was simultaneously obtained owing to the favorable recrystallization texture. © 2010 Central Iron and Steel Research Institute.

The modeling and kinetic simulation on a pendular telescopic coal flowing equipment are introduced in this paper based on the software Pro/E. There are five main components' modeling included the train and the railway are given through this software. Using the software, the simulated assembling is provided, and the moving relation is established about the practice working state. The reasonable drivers are presented in order to carry out the kinetic simulation about this machine. ©2010 IEEE.

Quantities, sizes and distribution of titanium oxide and nitride in steels obtained by different smelting processes were investigated. Toughness in heat-affected zone (HAZ) of tested steels was researched through thermal-mechanical simulation machine. The results show that numerous finely titanium oxide and nitride inclusions were acquired by a new smelting process. TiN inclusions in fusion line were dissolved in matrix when heated above 1400°C, and then the pinning grain boundaries and inhibiting grain growth effects of TiN inclusions disappear. When the size of Ti2O3-MnS complex inclusions is less than 5 μm, these inclusions have a strong effect on promoting the formation of intragranular acicular ferrites (IAF). When the size is larger than 5-6 μm, some these inclusions also can promote the formation of intragranular polygonal ferrite (IPF). The toughness of steel in HAZ with high heat input can be improved by the new smelting process.

We investigate the design of a non-fragile dynamic output feedback H-infinity controller with finite word length (FWI) for fuzzy linear discrete-time systems. It is assumed that this controller is with an interval additive gain variable which reflects the effect of the word length on the numerical execution. The introduction of the fuzzy property increases the complexity of the controller design, making the problem more challenging. To deal with the numerical computation problem, we employ a structural vertex separator, and develop a LMI-based 2-step method for designing the fuzzy non-fragile H-infinity controller. This design guarantees the asymptotic stability of the closed-loop system with desired H-infinity performances. A comparison between the proposed method and the existing method in the design of the fuzzy non-fragile H-infinity controller is provided, and a numerical example is given to validate the analytical results.

The problem of non-fragile dissipative filtering for a class of nonlinear discrete-time systems with sector-bounded nonlinearities is investigated. The filter under study is subject to multiplicative gain variations, which are often encountered in practice and the sources of instability. It is worth pointing out that a more general type of filter gain variation is introduced. The purpose of the paper is to design a filter such that, for all admissible filter gain variations, the error filtering system is asymptotically stable and strictly (Q, S, R)-dissipative. A sufficient condition for the existence of such a filter is obtained by using appropriate Lyapunov function and linear matrix inequality (LMI) techniques. A numerical example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed designs. ©2010 IEEE.

The low silicon transformation-induced plasticity (TRIP) steel with phosphorus addition is consisted of the microstructure of retained austenite, ferrite and bainite which produced by intercritical annealing and isothermal bainite transformation followed by rapid cooling. In this study, isothermal bainite transformation of different experimental parameters in low silicon TRIP steel with phosphorus addition was investigated in laboratory. The addition of cheap element phosphorus, which has the same effect of silicon in retard the kinetics of carbide formation during isothermal bainite transformation, can reduce the silicon content, improve surface quality, solve galvanizing problem and reduce costs. The effect of bainite isothermal temperature, intercritical annealing temperature and heating rates were investigated by dilatometric experiment on a push-rod Formastor-FII high-speed dilatometer with radio frequency induction heating. The high resolution observations, composition analysis and elements distribution of microstructure were carried out using the electron scanning microscopy of a field emission electron probe microanalyzer (JEOL JXA-8530F) operating at 20KV accelerating voltage. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.
