The spectrum of X-ray polycrystalline diffraction contains background and noise, while noise is the main factors affecting the resolution of diffraction peak. In this paper, the X-ray polycrystalline diffraction spectrum of an iron ore is noise-filtered by means of neural network, simulink and wavelet analysis through introducing it into MATLAB. The effects of the three means were compared, and it was concluded that the effect of wavelet analysis is the best.

Aromatic amines (AAs) are common chemical pollutants and banned ingredients in cosmetics. In this study, a rapid, simple and stable method for the detection of nine AAs in cosmetics was established based on the optimization of cation exchange solid-phase extraction and liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry. The method displayed good linearity within a range of 2-1,000 μg/kg, with limits of quantitation at the level of μg/kg for cosmetic samples. The recoveries obtained for all analyzed amines ranged between 83.6 and 97.8%, and the repeatability (r) and reproducibility (R) values indicated that all nine AAs showed good precision (r ≤ 4.5% and R ≤ 7.7%). The method was applied for the detection of 36 cosmetic samples. It was found that the primary pollutants of AAs were 3, 3'-dichlorobenzidine and 4-aminoazobenzene. The total amine concentration in cosmetic samples ranged from 880 to 5,200 μg/kg. The proposed method is applicable for the analysis of most cosmetic samples. © 2013 The Author.

A determination method of lead, cadmium, arsenic, tin and antimony in galvanizing layer by laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) was established using 64Zn as internal standard based on the calibration curve prepared by pure zinc certified reference material. The surface state of coating layer of galvanized steel sheet and the depth resolution of laser ablation were studied. The data acquisition was carried out using single-point ablation mode and ICP-MS time resolution mode. On the basis of optimizing operation parameters, the fractionation effect was discussed. The results showed that the fractionation factors of Pb and Sn were close to 1, while the fractionation factors of As, Cd and Sb were less than 0.8. Therefore, it was considered that Pb and Sb had no fractionation effect, while As, Cd and Sb had fractionation effect. The memory effect was not observed. This method has been applied to determination of certified reference materials and actual samples, and the results were consistent with the certified values (found by ICP-MS), which proved that the proposed method was feasible. The detection limits of Pb, Cd, As, Sn and Sb were 3, 0.3, 3, 3 and 0.5 μg/g, respectively.

This paper educes the mathematics formula of solid-liquid phase dielectric constant by employing two methods of mixture's dielectric constant, building on the electromagnetic wave through the medium theory, this paper thus obtains the mathematic theory model of online microwave water content detection in iron concentrate. The wavelet analysis method was wildly used in different areas to deal with datum of figure, and can be also applied to minerals phases of iron ore. In order to distinguish inclusions, the non-ferrous minerals or métallurgie wastes, some inspection companies used the method of phase analysis. The method of characteristic information picking up for different minerals phases' structure of iron ores was introduced on basis of wavelet analysis in Matlab. The quantitative analysis was realized about approximate volume of mineral. The different phases in different phase diagrams can be indexed through analyzing and sorting the information of characters.

Taking potentiometric titration curve as an example, the titration curve of electrochemistry is transformed into derivative curve by using command window program, wavelet 1-D of wavelet boxes and Simulink. It offers good methods for quantitative determination of electrochemistry to improve signal-to-noise and precision of leap-point of curve. These methods of derivative transformation may be applied to quantitative determination of basic electrochemistry instrument, especially in digital potentiometric titrator without software, which is quite effective. The analyzers of electrochemistry could apply examples of this paper to actual works directly after parameters are set up, import or export.

This paper presents a moisture detection system of iron concentrate used in seaport by microwave transmission method. By contrast, the detection system adopts pyramid hom antenna as the special sensor. According to the size of conveyor belt, one pyramidal horn antenna is designed and simulated in HFSS. With the simulation results, a pair of pyramid horn antenna is manufactured. In order to meet the requirements of moisture detection, we design one experiment. The experimental result shows that the proposed port microwave moisture detection system of iron ore concrete, the detection scheme is feasible, and by further improvement and on-site test, it is expected to be directly applied in seaport operation and thus it will be guiding significant in improving the quality of Chinese imports of iron ore concrete. © 2015, Institution of Engineering and Technology. A method was proposed for fast determination of major component chromium in ferrochromium by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES). Sodium carbonate and sodium peroxide were used to melt the chromium iron sample in zirconium crucible and sulfide acid was used for leaching the melt. According to the various chromium lines collected, some stable lines of them were used as analysis line. The ICP-OES determination of major component chromium in ferrochromium was effectively solved by drift correction and standard material correction technology. The certified standard materials including high carbon ferrochromium, low carbon ferrochromium, micro carbon ferrochromium and carbon ferrochromium were analyzed. The difference between the testing value and the certified value was less than 0.3% and the RSD (n=7) was 0.13%-0.43%.

According to design theory of attenuator, combining with the practical situation of microwave moisture contactor, this paper designs the structure of attenuator which center frequency is 10 GHz and the gain is greater than 10dB. Then making simulation and analysis with HFSS, and obtains a group of design parameters that meet the working requirements.
