Aiming at the jobbing work characteristics of aerospace assembly production, a new production planning & control method based on workflow technology was put forward. By introducing workflow management technology, this method combined product assembly data with management of assembly process. This method could effectively describe dynamic interactions between the assembly data and the assembly process. At the same time, it realized unified management between assembly data and assembly activities. Finally, the prototype was developed, which was applied in some aerospace factory.

The effect of simulated body fluid (SBF) artificial body fluid on microstructure and morphology characteristics of AZ91D alloy was investigated using OM, SEM and XRD. The effect of corrosion on mechanical properties also was researched. The results show that the corrosion weight loss rate initially increased, then clearly decreased, and finally remained steady. Pits began to appear when the sample was placed in a corrosive environment for five days and pitting gradually increased with longer exposure time. The pits, which made the grain boundaries indistinct, first appeared near the grain boundary area and then gradually increased in area. The main mode of corrosion is pitting and the primary corrosion product, MgOH2, could be observed after five days of corrosion. © 2016 - STC "Institute for Single Crystals".

The capabilities of 3D digital design and manufacturing have become the core in the competition between enterprises, which are also the backbone and breakthrough point to promote the reformation of developing and manufacturing abilities. Aiming at the problems that 3D process simulation was interpreted as 3D process and the connotation of 3D digital design and manufacturing technology was not grasped correctively in some enterprises, the current demand of domestic 3D design and manufacturing was analyzed, the connotation of 3D digital design and manufacturing technology was elaborated, and the key technologies of 3D digital design and manufacturing were expounded and discussed. By combining with the typical cases analyses, the three-step development strategies of 3D design, 3D to process and 3D to equipment for our defense industry enterprises and the two proposals of implementary 3D digital design and manufacturing technology were given.

To improve the reliability of spacecraft, a new integrated manufacturing method for spacecraft pipe's welding assembly was proposed by combining with the engineering practice in the spacecraft pipe's development. The overall technical outline of this method was presented, and the business process was established on this basis. The five key technologies such as the integrated data management for welding assembly process, the assessment of capacity of manufacturing, the simulation of pipe's NC bending process, the pipe model's comparison and the pipe's digital flexible welding assembly were discussed. The integrated manufacturing system for spacecraft pipe's welding assembly was developed and validated by examples. Through the application of digital methods, the transition from traditional manual mode to digital integrated manufacturing mode was accomplished with the whole pipe's manufacturing process modeling and simulation technology. ©, 2014, CIMS.
