To facilitate the simultaneous synthesis of no-crystal iron oxide hydroxide from ammonium bicarbonate and recovery of ammonium sulfate by-product, the factors affecting the purification of ammonium sulfate are studied. In this study, the efficient removal of iron impurity in ammonium sulfate can be achieved by combining the oxidation-precipitation separation method with employment of flocculants.
