A batch of high-quality fluoride crystals was grown by using the special multi-hole carbon crucible via modified Bridgman method. Several kinds of fluoride crystal ingots with different size and shape could be prepared by this method. Compared with the conventional single-hole crucible, this proposed technology could effectively improve the rate of finished products of fluoride crystals and reduce the cost of production. Source
