Considering a case of call drop happened when switching between two cells in GSM-R network of Shi-Tai passenger dedicated railway, With several network optimization methods, such as traffic statistics analysis?drive test and dynamic test, and then investigating the handover algorithm and impacts of optical repeater station to base station receptivity, it comes to the conclusion that the reasons of the problem are as follows: The network field coverage is unconscionable; the uplink gain of optical repeater stations belonged to one cell is exceeded. By adjusting the inter-cell antenna elevation angle and the uplink gain of those optical repeater stations, the normal handover between those cells is realized and the problem of call drop is solved successfully. Design of traffic signs will affect the route choices of drivers and affect the efficiency of road utilization. This research analyzes the characteristics of the traffic flows of various types of vehicles coming into and going out of the Beijing Southern Railway Station. It is found that the traffic signs on the roads near the Beijing South Railway Station are not enough, and some of the existing traffic signs are discontinuous, irrationally established or unreasonably located. These problems are summarized according to the principle of information coherence and clearness. Finally, the countermeasures are proposed base on the characteristics of the traffic flows around the Beijing Southern Railway Station and the design principle of traffic signs. Source

According to the characteristics of railway passenger flow and season as well as the law of booking in advance, combined with the historical data of passenger flow and expert experience, the time series analysis method was adopted to establish the passenger flow prediction model to predict the passenger flow for passenger train ODs. Based on the predicted OD passenger flow, with the maximization in passenger load factor of the whole journey for passenger train, the income and the whole benefit as target, the core principles for pre-assigning ticket allotment was put forward. The core principles were long distance first and then short distance, seat first and then no seat, pre-assignment first according to number and then proportion, etc. The algorithm for pre-assigning ticket allotment was given. On this basis, the intelligent pre-assignment system for railway passenger train ticket allotment was constructed. The results of practical application show that the system has realized the dynamic allocation of railway passenger train ticket allotment, improved the enthusiasm for organizing passenger flow at stations on the way and increased the passenger load factor of passenger train. The soft conflict occurring between running lines in the high-speed train diagram to make trains unable to run at the appropriate power was defined, which was found hard to solve the soft conflict problems with the existing methods of formulating the train diagram. The mechanism and influence of forming soft conflicts between high-speed train running lines were analyzed. It was demonstrated that the method of integrated simulation of traction power supply and train group operation could better solve the soft conflict problems, namely, traction power supply calculations were used to detect soft conflicts of the train diagram and on this basis train operation simulation adjustment was made to get rid of the soft conflicts. The proposed method proves effective in rejecting soft conflicts of the train diagram, provides the control strategy of the train operation process, and solves some difficult problems in simulation calculation of AC traction power supply. Finally a train diagram was formulated and based on adjustment of soft conflicts for a real high-speed railway line in China. Source
