Chondroitinase ABC I (ChSase ABC I) which can degrade chondroitin sulfate (CS) and other glycosaminoglycan to oligosaccharide or unsaturated disaccharide, was fusionally expressed with maltose-binding protein (MBP) in Escherichia coli BL21(DE3) (E. coli BL21(DE3)) and purified for the first time in this study. The result showed that the productivity of recombinant MBP-ChSase ABC I was 3180IU/(L fermentation liquor) with CS A as substrate, and the productivity might be the highest level when compared to the reported ones. The specific activity of recombinant MBP-ChSase ABC I was 76IU/(mg protein) after purification. The Vmax, Km and kcat were 18.7±0.3μmol/Ls, 73.1±4.1μmol/L and 586.7±10.8s-1, respectively. Enzyme activity of the purified enzyme remained about 78% after 210min when the enzyme incubated at 30°C. This study introduces a rapid method for highly expressing ChSase ABC I, and the method could be adopted in the process of industrial production. Furthermore the investigation of thermostability might lead to an important guide in clinical treatment. © 2014 Elsevier B.V.

There has been fierce competition in the express delivery market in China with its fast development. This competition is mostly focused on lower service price which results in poor customer service in the industry, especially for private companies. Thus, express companies should carefully observe the demands of consumers and take service quality into strong consideration. This paper aims to provide features of consumers' demand based on a survey of 147 corporations in Beijing. From this survey, various concerns about service quality emerged including delayed delivery, high damage rate to packages, and poor service attitude. The paper focuses on the micro level rather than the macro level of the express delivery market. The questionnaire was designed to measure not only the satisfaction degree of current services but also the features of service demand required. The results in this paper can be useful for express companies when they design service products or place marketing strategies. © 2013 Springer-Verlag London.

Wireless video surveillance is of increasing importance. Many wireless video surveillance systems require a well optimized video codec for low-power operations. Compression of the captured video is normally needed in order to reduce the amount of video data to be delivered as well as to increase the video storage capability of the surveillance system. In this paper, a self-adapting segmentation algorithm for low-quality video Image based on camera information is present in detail. An adaptive threshold value method is used to extract the goal information. Combining features of the goal and video background, an adaptive segmentation algorithm based on hue histogram and saturation histogram is proposed, which can adapt the changing environmental conditions. With the further development of Internet of Things technology, due to the increasing data and poor expansibility of the traditional storage architecture, it will become increasingly complex and lead to high energy consumption. Different from the traditional storage system, the distributed cloud storage system can realize the storage of massive information, the management of files with large scale, and provide high query efficiency. This paper firstly presents the current problems lying in the heterogeneous data processing, Then the cloud storage architecture and MapReduce programming model are introduced for the Classify MapReduce algorithm proposition. Finally, considering the processing methods of distributed computing and cloud computing models, advantages and disadvantages of MapReduce programming model, and the characteristics of heterogeneous data in IoT system, this paper proposes a parallel storage algorithm, Classify MapReduce, which is composed of three systemic functions: Classify function, Map function and Reduce function. Our experiment shows that it classifies the original heterogeneous data flow according to the data type to realize parallel processing, which greatly improves the storage and access efficiency. © 2014 IEEE.

As an object-oriented dynamic scripting language, Python has been widely applied in scientific computation, image processing and network communication fields, etc., however, there is no enough attention paid to it in automated test. A Python-based client/server auto-dial testing mode which is successfully applied in actual wireless network optimization testing is introduced. The actual application shows that this mode brings flexible and high-efficiency features of Python programming into full play and significantly improves the efficiency of testing system. © Hongxue Yang.

In professional teaching, to enhance the students' ability of metro vehicle driving the teachers have introduced the expert help system of situational teaching in the vehicle driving simulation platform.
