To the features of NaI(Tl) detector, we forth the Peak-seek method of symmetrical zero-area convolution. In order to improve the peak-seek ability of the low background, we have dealt with the data before peak filter. we will identify the nuclides by matching the nuclides Lib, confirm the borderline by first differential, calculate the activity by the net peak area, which would be subtracted of the background by logarithmic method. we get a formula fitting the energy-efficiency and product an application software that analyzing the energy spectrum gathered by ORTECT. As a result, it's best to the Independent characteristic peak, better to the overlapped peaks, and also can decrease the Statistical false peak.

In order to effectively hold the measuring point surroundings condition record information in nuclear fallouts measuring instrument inside, the measurement data has more practical meaning, also facilitate comprehensive analysis and processing. It will have high sensitivity, low interference, easy to install characteristics of temperature and humidity, wind speed sensor and wind-direction sensors, rainfall sensor embedded into to MSP430F169 as the core of the nuclear instruments, realizing the environmental parameters of the acquisition, and in each sensor is introduced based on the theory of, will of communication between the microcontroller and sensor method and software and hardware design to do a detailed explanation. Experiments prove, the text of the design method is feasible, instrument completely can achieve in nuclear detection applications in the field of requirements.

The THGEM detector without and with a CsI has been tested successfully. The optimal parameters of THGEM have been determined from eight samples. The UV photoelectric effect of the CsI photocathode is observed. The changing tendency related to the extraction efficiency (εextr) versus the extraction electric field is measured, and several electric fields influencing the anode current are adjusted to adapt to the THGEM detector with a reflective CsI photocathode. © 2011 Chinese Physical Society and the Institute of High Energy Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Modern Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and IOP Publishing Ltd.

The application of ac servo motor in the In-Core Neutron Flux Instrumentation System is described. The hardware component of ac servo motor control system is different from the dc motor control system. The effect of two control system on the instrumentation system is compared. The ac servo motor control system can improve the accuracy of the motion control, optimize the speed control and increase the reliability.

This paper introduces a kind of PC-based combined multi-channel γ counter. The γ counter system with 12 independent units is realized by the combination of software and hardware. γ-ray spectroscopy response for CdZnTe planar detector (10 mm×10 mm×2.5 mm) made by ourself is evaluated using an un-collimated 241Am (59.5 keV) radioactive source at room temperature for 10 h continuously, in which the polarization is not occurred. The γ-ray (59.5 keV) response spectra of the detector are acquired for a long time (1 year), it shows that operation of the detector is stable. A thick CdZnTe capacitive Frisch grid detector (10 mm×5 mm×10 mm) is fabricated in order to approach high collection efficiency for high-energy γ-rays. An excellent energy resolution of 3.65% for 137Cs at 662 keV is obtained without any additional signal processing.

It describes the development of C2 project based on the OPC protocol core measurement system measurement and control data management software. The main achievement is a measure of the reactor core of the neutron flux distribution, monitoring core power distortion, and accumulated fuel consumption data and other functions, and place the abnormal response timely. The monitoring software running on the main cabinet computer achieves the integration of system monitoring, and the moniting software running on the channel cabinet achieves system monitoring. The monitoring and control software plays an important role in ensuring the safety and economy of the nuclear power plants.

The Decay Time of ST401 Type Plastic Scintillator has been measured by Single Photon method. The result is (2.60±0.18)ns. This device has an intrinsic time resolution less than 1.8 ns, and has a dynamic range of more than 104, and the time measurement accuracy less than 0.1 ns. This devide can be used to measure the time characteristics of multi-source scintillators.

We also study EMC shielding principles and implements, and make proposals of EMI shielding techniques for nuclear instrumentation.
